What does it do?
  • tracks everything in your characters' Bags, Bank, Guild Banks, CraftBag and Storage Chests
  • tracks items in House(s) (configurable)
  • keeps track of the Gold / AP / Telvar Stones / Writ Vouchers for each character
  • keeps track of the space used/available for each character
  • allows filtering your inventory by item type
  • lets you search the items by name, or by set name
  • adds data to item tooltip showing you where that item is located (all popups/tooltips, or only when over the Inventory Insight window)

Because of those that do not wish to help find the mod causing the conflict I removed the MRL support. I can't troubleshoot it because I'm not using the same mods as those with the issue. It would have been nice to know which mod was causing the issue. I especially can't without a LibDebugLogger file that was created while they had the issue.

The necrom update has some bugs in it anyway that will do things as simple as break resizing windows. The fixes for some of these issues won't be included until the next incremental or update 39. So removing the MRL code will be helpful so that after the release of Necrom when someone realizes something is broken I won't have to hear people complain about it when the user has the issue because of other mods causing the conflict.

I am having issues with the addon showing wrong count of items in the bank. I have reinstalled it, deleted all data from settings - did not help. Just now I have removed all items from my bank - I have nothing in my bank - and the add on shows that I have plenty of stuff there, some with weird red question mark icons. Weapons, armor and etc.
Any solution to this?

Not sure if this has been answered below, but Crafting Writ containers and the mats containers derived from them when open are still showing up even after they are open\looted. No character designations on them when I hover. To clear these I have to completely relog the characters that originally received the containers from the writs.

As others have said, thanks for your hard work on this addon - it has my in game life much easier!!

IIFA used to tell me which item was on a specific character, especially if it was more than one of the same item on different characters. Like when you have two copies of Willpower rings, one on Character A and one on Character B. It would outright say "1x Character A, 1x Character B" in the tooltip.

It no longer seems to do this unless its in a guild bank.

Is this intended or do I have to delete my old IIFA saved variables for it to work like this again?

I also deleted some old guild banks from the in-game settings and did a /reloadui. When I looked at the IIFA window again (with debug on) and mouseover'd one of the large item stacks, I got hit with a UI Error.

After deleting the above data tables and restarting the game I've noticed that none of the crafting materials are showing either from craftbag or inventory even after /reloadui or restarting the game. And also both of the data tables are present again in the savedvariables, I'm not sure why the addon is saving 2 data tables now, maybe an oversight?
We've just started to maintain separate tables for NA and EU. Usually, the table pointer should just be swapped - we're having a bit trouble with the indexing right now, as you may have noticed.

should be removed after the other was set.

Go to your settings, addons, inventory insight, manage collected data. You should be able to purge everything from there.

After deleting the above data tables and restarting the game I've noticed that none of the crafting materials are showing either from craftbag or inventory even after /reloadui or restarting the game. And also both of the data tables are present again in the savedvariables, I'm not sure why the addon is saving 2 data tables now, maybe an oversight?

Same problem no filter of chars holdin items.When i try to see an item lets say i ve 4 but addon not shıowing which toon have it no description at tooltips.Addon showin some items double etc etc problem i always hated new patches cos of this addons goin crazy.

Go to your settings, addons, inventory insight, manage collected data. You should be able to purge everything from there.

Let me start by saying how awesome this addon is!! Truly one of the absolutely necessary, game-changing ones I can't imagine life without now that I'm hooked. That said, I'm having an issue with the item count (in item tooltips) being wrong, and I'm wondering if there is an easy way to purge the Inventory Insight data, so I can log into each character again and rebuild the data table, or is it just a *display* error?

As far as I can tell, the new version seemed to fix the "I dont see items of this char" bug, thx for that!
However (as it is with programs ) there are now other issues^^:
-As some other people already mentioned, the addon does not show anymore which character holds how many of a certain item. I can filter it with the categories (meaning selecting char A will show me that this char has at least one item), but if I have 5 rings of XY it will show me all the time "ring of XY" x5. No "blue text" at the bottom of the tooltip, as it used to be.(Edit: this only seems to affect weapons and armor. At least most recipes and mats seem to have a functioning tooltip(example exception "Dwarven Construct Repair Part", not working))
-Bank items seem to be counted double.
-The addon does not distinguish between quality anymore. I have "Breeches of the Burning Spellweave" 2x in divines. One gold, one purple. They are treated as the same item. Happening with multiple items.
-When I try to access the settings I get the following error:

Have problems with looted containers (Crafting Writ reward containers are a good example) still showing up despite being opened and looted. After a morning of writs, all of the containers appear to be in the inventory although no character designations are on the hover popup. Only way to clear this is the login again on all my chars who did writs to clear them.

Edit to add:

Alliance Spell Draught and Alliance Battle Draught both have icons with question marks and and short invalid item type of message when hovering over them.
