Inventory Insight  Updated this week!  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
One Inventory to rule them all!
(Items from banks, house storage, and all of the characters on your account! All in one place.)

What does it do?
  • tracks everything in your characters' Bags, Bank, Guild Banks, CraftBag and Storage Chests
  • tracks items in House(s) (configurable)
  • keeps track of the Gold / AP / Telvar Stones / Writ Vouchers for each character
  • keeps track of the space used/available for each character
  • allows filtering your inventory by item type
  • lets you search the items by name, or by set name
  • adds data to item tooltip showing you where that item is located (all popups/tooltips, or only when over the Inventory Insight window)
  • Tracks information separately between NA and EU

Recently added features:
  • FCO Item Saver integration
  • Guild banks tracking is now separate between world servers
  • Jewelry filter is now on main bar (to match rest of base UI)

Library dependencies: (all are available here at ESOUI)

Backlog:
  • Track multiple accounts: Voodoo might be possible

Where do I send massive qtys of gold or mats (or not so massive)?
We gladly accept donations:
NA: @AssemblerManiac
EU: @manavortex
3.68

- Fix for when configured font is unavailable

3.67

- Updated for U41

3.66

- Update to address resizeToFitDescendents warnings

3.65

- Update to address regression for subcategory dropdown
- Removed MRL support

Because of those that do not wish to help find the mod causing the conflict I removed the MRL support. I can't troubleshoot it because I'm not using the same mods as those with the issue. It would have been nice to know which mod was causing the issue. I especially can't without a LibDebugLogger file that was created while they had the issue.

The necrom update has some bugs in it anyway that will do things as simple as break resizing windows. The fixes for some of these issues won't be included until the next incremental or update 39. So removing the MRL code will be helpful so that after the release of Necrom when someone realizes something is broken I won't have to hear people complain about it when the user has the issue because of other mods causing the conflict.

3.64

- Fix for Search inventories from Chat
- Jewellery no longer shows up when filtering armor

3.63

- Added tooltip to Deconstruction assistants

3.62

- Fix for moc with Lazy Set Crafter

3.61

- Update to tooltip localization for weapons

3.56, 3.58, 3.59, 3.60

- Update to address possible mismatching of items from any list of items
- Added nil checks for AGS when data rows are temporarily empty or switching between a guild that has listed items for sale and one that doesn't

The tooltip should be correct now for outdated mouse over controls. Added controls include Furniture Catalogue and CraftStore.

3.55

- Update to address possible mismatching of items when you right click on the UI from other mods like Awesome Guild Store

3.54

- Fix for Honestaly's report that the search box no longer works

3.53

- Pre PTS version

3.52

- Fix for IIfA: Search inventories issue that Neverlands reported

3.51

- Update to make the Up and Down arrow buttons for the scroll bar work to scroll the list because previously that was not defined.
- Holding Shift while clicking the Up or Down arrows or while scrolling the mouse will move the list by an increment of 10. Basically a Page Up/Page Down.
- Inventory Insight will no longer display the count for the last item viewed in the main UI for items in the MM window. Meaning if you looked at Acai Berries and had 1000 of them in your craft bag, everything in the MM window had 1000 for the tooltip. This only applied to new views and lists that didn't previously exist.
- You can now right click items to link the MM price from the Inventory Insight window

3.50

- Reworked tooltip font routines for quickc's report
- Updated TLC in xml because of ZOS changes so currency and bag space popup isn't under the Inventory Insight window

Re: View Window at Crafting Station

You can bind it to a key and turn it on/off anywhere, and it'll remember how it was set next time you're in that view.

Well it hasn't been updated since T1 came out. There's no telling what's wrong with it.

Inventory Grid

Any chance we get this addon to work with Inventory Grid view? Its really a hassle to scroll through all that stuff one by one.

Re: Re: Re: Switching Servers

Could you post some information about what you had to change?

Enable one copy on each server. The savedvars folder will then contain IIfA-EU.lua and IIfA.lua.

At this time, there's no way for one addon to create two different files in saved variables. Master Merchant gets around the issue by having 16 additional "addons", each contains a portion of the saved data.

Not sure there's another way to handle it (yet).

I am going to make a batch file that will simply swap out the files, but I have multiple accounts and sometimes log into both servers at the same time, which I won't be able to do using this method.

I have no idea if addons could use separate saved variable files, depending on the server you are logging into, but I am hoping it is.

I tried contacting ZOS about the problem, but basically they were no help. Although we no longer have to have 2 installs of the game, they made it so the launcher does not swap the live and liveeu folders each time.

Re: Re: Switching Servers

Thanks for the reply, I will give this a try to see how well it works.

Export file to google sheets

Thanks for the addon, pretty sweet. But I need to take it to the next level. With multiple accounts I'd like to see everything.

Is it possible to create a csv export or something? Or modify the code so that it's the same everywhere? If I was a pro coder like you guys I would do it.

But if guys don't feel like it doesn't needs it. Could you point me in the right direction to change how data is stored. I'd like to make another function and file that looks more like this in CSV format.

[Key]Account(@account)
CharacterID(xxxxxxxxxxx)
MaxBagSpace(xxx)
Gold(xxxxxxxxxx)
AP(xxxxxxxxxx)

[KEY]ItemNumberESO(|H:::
Account(@account)
CharacterID(xxxxxxxxxxx)
LocationID(bag=1,bank=2,craftbag=3)
ItemName(name)
ItemQuality(x) white-gold
ItemType(xxx) misc/craft/armor/weapon/accessories/recipie/map ect
ItemPiece(xxx) glove/dagger/ring/ore/refine/reagent ect
ItemCount(xxx)
ItemEnchant(x) Only if it's possible to check that.

If you are able to pull all of this data from the ingame item number I'd like to know you wizardry.

Regards,
silkysoft

Thanks!

Now that One Tamriel has put all the old great (and not so great ) dropped sets back and keyed with character level, there is all the more need for information about which character or bank has that much wanted item.

One suggestion I can make is to supply us a count of items in a certain set. Set Tracker does this, but it clashes with alpha gear, locking the game up solid, until the armour changes and the items are tracked.

I guess most of us use 'mules'? You know, those characters who just stand around carrying stuff we have no room for elsewhere? At the moment I run 4 mules, 1 for monster set items, one for 1hander and light armour, 1 for 2hander and medium armour and the last for wooden stuff and heavy. So I have some idea where stuff is, but it is tough not knowing if I have the all important five pieces!

To get a count of what is where for dropped sets, monster sets and so on, and at a glance would be awesome! I guess this is going to be difficult to do so I will not hold my breath.

It would also be useful if there was a link between Itemisation Browser(One Tamriel) by code65536 and this addon. Can't wait for the MM link!

Great addon! Thanks for reviving it!

later addition (14 Dec) another suggestion! How about offering a means where we can customise the grouping of the inventories we want to display by choosing a subset of our characters. At the moment it is one character or all. I would like to pick my mules and the bank.

Possible bugs, seen with debug on

Hi,
I am a new user and am liking this very much just thought to post what I saw in case it may be slowing FPS.

There is one misspelling in the game that you may have correct in the addon database and as for the others, well i'm not sure.

Also in general (with debug on) there is a repeated stream of groups of the same message in the chat window, i dont know if its correct behavior although it may be related to the above points.

Images to follow, regards and great job
