RGB AOE
Version: 2.1
by: Wheels [More]

You ever have problems seeing AOEs? Not anymore! This addon will give you the flashiest AOEs you could possibly desire.

Does what it says on the box, makes your AOEs strobe in RGB.

Speed is adjustable, and you can set a default color to return to when it's disabled.

Warning: This addon has strobing colors, please be smart if you're sensitive to this and be careful

Version 2.1:
  • API bump for Greymoor

Version 2.0:
  • Switched to more efficient method of getting hex values (thanks andy.s)
  • Added Turbo Mode - double the speed of the rgb cycle!
  • Added megaserver name to settings - your current settings will be wiped, you'll want to reset the default color if necessary

Sounds great! Looking forward to that, but otherwise this add-on has been working great so far.

Just a though as the addon is brand new and maybe it would be a good time to add:
Could you please add the server dependent settings ?

Old:
r.savedVars = ZO_SavedVars:NewCharacterIdSettings("RGBAOESavedVariables", 1, "RGBAOE", r.defaults)

New:
r.savedVars = ZO_SavedVars:NewCharacterIdSettings("RGBAOESavedVariables", 1, "RGBAOE", r.defaults, GetWorldName())

This would be very very nice as I tend to use different settings on live EU and NA servers very often.
Thank you.

P.S.
Just curious about the server reaction about the setting changes: Any problems expected with this like the "message spam boot" if we craft too fast etc. ?
Yeah I can add that in there, I meant to but I guess I forgot, oops.

I was concerned about being kicked for spamming as well potentially but I had multiple of us run it at max speed for 3+ hours last night and it didn’t seem to care at all.
