Global trade search tool needs YOUR help.

By running our addon and client. Your guild listings as well as any item you seen by using guild store search function will be automatically upload to the site for other people to search and browse. The collected data will also be used to generate price info for everyone~

If you want to contribute more to the community or if you wish to help boosting up your guild's sale by uploading an entire guild's listings, you are more than welcome to do so!

Here are some screen shoots of the site, addon and client

Install Instruction:

1. Download and unzip the files under ESO addon folder (default is Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns) Or you can install it with Minion
2. When you are playing ESO, run the client executable (client.exe) under Client folder
3. Enjoy the game

In game API
1. To get TTC's price info simply do TamrielTradeCentrePrice:GetPriceInfo(itemLink)
This will return a TamrielTradeCentre_PriceInfo Object
Code:
{
       Avg,
       Max,
       Min,
       EntryCount, --# of listings
       AmountCount, --total # of items
SuggestedPrice --suggested price low. Suggested high = SuggestedPrice * 1.25
}
2. To get TTC's internal item information (various internal Ids)
TamrielTradeCentre_ItemInfo:New(itemLink)

Q:How does this addon work?
The addon collects all the item listings that you seen in the guild store and uploads them to the site. The site then uses all the data collected by all players to generate price info for everyone.
You can also use the website to search for the location of an item using way better filter than the default Guild store GUI. But it is not guarantee the item is still there since low price items tends to get sold fast. You will have to use your own judgment based on the last seen column to predict whether its still available.

Q:How is the suggested price calculated?
1. Remove outliers
2. AVG(price of the lowest 30% items) * 0.8

Q:Whats the difference between average/suggested price vs sales average?
Average/suggested price are calculated using listing data while sales average is calculated using actual sales data. Both listing and sales data are collected from all TTC users across all guilds.

Q: How fresh is the pricing data?
Very fresh! Naw im kidding, its based on Data from yesterday

Q: How big is TTC
It uses around 6mb of RAM for pricing info and around 20mb at most for entries you have seen.

2. Small localization updates

4.18 Release Log:
1. Added back the price to chat language options

2. No longer adds divider if no price info is available

Client 3.24 Release Notes:

3. Added Elsweyr's trader locations
4. Fixed an issue causing last updated string to show up in native client's locale instead of target locale when using price to chat with a different locale than the native one.

Client 3.23 Release Notes:
1. Fixed two compatibility issues with Awesome Guild Store (more to come later)
a) Price not showing in store page when AGS is enabled
b) UI error when trying to purchage item when AGS is enabled
2. Updated the logic for personal listings to be consistant with community scanned ones. Last seen for personal listings will only get updated when user opens the guild store and click on the listings tab or when user lists new item/remove existing item from the store. (Used to be based on user's last login. However ZOS's API seems to skip some entries and thus causing the cached version to be unreliable. Causes more confusion than good to use the login time due to this)
3. Fixed an issue causing price to chat to show up multiple times when the language of the current client's locale is selected
4. Uses sub menu for price to chat when there is more than one language selected
5. Removed the one time guild store scan due to point 2

P.S. due to some backend structure change the saved settings will be reset. Your price data will stay safely since its downloaded from the server.

Client 3.22 Release Notes:
1. Wrathstone API update
2. Store full scan code completely revamped. New scan logic will retry on failure (too many searches). In case of the game force close the store UI TTC will attempt to resume the scan the next time store is opened.
3. Added the ability to do price to chat in different languages regardless of client's locale

Known issue: The new ESO Guild Store UI has a bug which it will not update the UI listings when the search is initiated with API calls. Thus you are going to see the search result panel stay the same thru out the whole scan process.

P.S. New items will be added in batch. Thanks for your patience.

5. other small fixes

Client 3.10 Release Notes:

Before you post

This section is reserved for addon related issues only.

For website issues please use this thread instead (https://www.esoui.com/forums/showthr...5994#post45994)

To people who are super privacy concerned TTC now offers first party ad only option which only consists a preloaded picture and a referral link. No ad server no tracking no privacy concern and no security adjustment needed.

Hopefully thats a good enough solution to everyone.

P.S. again no discussion in this section please. Head to the forum post instead.

I do use a VPN,
I need to keep it on in general but I'll try uploading with it off...

Just to confirm: to update my Last Seen or new listings, should it automatically work from banks? Or do I actually have to go to the traders and search?

Thank you
If it matters, I also use other addons like Awesome Guild Store to search, and MM.

Been trying to get TTC to update since morning; tested VPN also:

TEST 1: upload completed 3:30 pm
  • VPN on
  • ONLY "Sync my personal listings" on
  • From a bank:
  • clicked through my listings
  • searched relevant keywords in guild stores (E.g. Colovian, etc.)
  • logged out, quit,
  • turned VPN OFF,
  • uploaded data via Web Client

Then, checked several listings that haven't been updated in over 5-6 hours, some at less popular locations, to try to ensure uploads are coming from me and not someone else:

3:50 pm - Last Seen still not updated.
One of my listings is still showing Last Seen: 6 hours ago; another player's same item in the same town is 7 minutes ago. That means the website has updated in that time; the issue is only with my upload.

4:10 pm: Not updated, > 6 hours

Test 2: upload completed 4:18 pm
  • VPN off
  • ONLY "Sync my personal listings" on
  • From a bank:
  • clicked through my listings
  • searched relevant keywords in guild stores
  • /reloadui
  • uploaded data via Web Client

4:23 pm: Not updated, > 7 hours
Other player's item in same town = 36 mins ago

4:35 pm: Nothing updated

Test 3: upload completed 4:44 pm
  • VPN off
  • "Sync my personal listings" + "Enable Auto Record Search Results" on
  • same steps as Test 2

4:54 pm: Last Seen not updated, > 7 hours

(Some of these >7 hr items are in one of the highest-traffic traders, on a Friday afternoon. If I were a buyer searching for that item I would assume it sold and wouldn't check there.)

5:10 pm: Nothing updated, 8 hours

...

EDIT: one more:

Test 4: 5:50 pm -
  • "Sync my personal listings" + "Enable Auto Record Search Results" on
  • VPN on while game was on,
  • Visited trader location, searched
  • quit, turned VPN off
  • ran Client: 5:50 pm

5:55 pm
An item with > 8 hrs is now Last Seen: 7 mins ago.
Either running the Client worked from the trader location regardless of VPN (weird, it doesn't always), or someone else's TTC updated that (more likely).

Continued...
  • logged in with VPN off, searched at traders again
  • /reloadui, Client updated: 6:03 pm

6:06 pm
Now ALL of the items I've been checking have Last Seen: < 5-8 mins ago. Good.

6:19 pm
After using "Clear Recorded Entries", tried again from bank. Everything updated: Now. Good.

So,
  • VPN can be On while game is on, but must be Off when client runs
  • /reloadui + running Client updates listings, but ONLY with "Enable Auto Record Search Results" on?
  • Seems to work from bank after searching listings; not necessary to visit traders?
    ...
  • Using only "Sync my personal listings" doesn't do anything?
  • Although Client & Web Client appear to upload after logout or /camp, seems like /reloadui might be necessary?
  • Unsure if Web Client works?

A few days ago I put up for sale "Bound Signature Script: Leeching thirst", but apparently there are no such ones in the database. It doesn’t find or display in TTC, I update the client regularly. Is this a problem on the ZOS side?

Re: Addon Won't Sync to Site

I have the same issue and have done all the same troubleshooting that MoonPile has. The following is to give you more information that may help pinpoint the issue.

Is there a specific port you are using to upload the data? In some situations, it may be closed and need to be opened in the firewall or router. Even possibly the user requesting their ISP to open it for their account.

I have two situations. One appears to be machine dependent with Comcast / Xfinity in Illinois. The other ISP dependent, Summit Broadband in Florida.

No VPN or TOR usage.

1) On the Comcast / Xfinity home network some machines upload and post properly, and others don't. No error messages.

The upload appears to succeed but never posts on two new Windows 11 laptops on Comcast or mobile hotspot. Still unresolved after 2 months. The download updates do succeed. Comcast / Xfinity all default router settings for those 3 machines. Webroot security.

8 or 9 months ago I had the same issue on a new install of Windows 10 that cleared up on its own after a few days. Comcast / Xfinity all default router settings for those 3 machines. Webroot security.

Other Windows 10 and 11 machines with Webroot and connected to the same Comcast / Xfinity home network as above upload TTC data and post just fine. Also works on mobile hotspot. Fortunately, my main PC is one of those.

2) At a different location and different ISP in Florida, Summit Broadband, the upload appears to succeed but does not post. The download update succeeds properly. No error messages.

Even on a laptop that uploads and posts just fine at the Comcast / Xfinity location indicated at the top of this comment fails to upload and post when connected to Summit Broadband. All default router settings. In this case, Summit appears to be blocking the upload. Perhaps a specific port you are using to upload.

When on Summit Broadband in Florida I have to connect to my mobile hotspot to upload successfully with that laptop.

It'll be several months before I am back at the location with Summit Broadband to troubleshoot with that specific ISP.*

I am able to troubleshoot, if need be, on the Windows 11 laptops that will not properly upload in Illinois.

Is this a known issue?
Thanks!
Thanks for the report. Will be fixed after tonight's daily maintenance.

Are you using VPN/Tor or anything like those?

I have the exact same thing going on for all jewelry mats. I also noticed that the prices for master writs are not updating.

However, even after waiting an hour, my listing does not appear on the website. I even tried the manual website client where you upload the .lua, same as with the .exe it will give the time/item and say it has been posted, it also says upload complete. But again, after an hour the item isn't on the website. This is for completely new listings, but old listings won't update the 'last seen' status either. I cannot for the life of me figure out what the issue is.

By the way all my addons are updated, I have the requirements, I don't get any error messages, the rest of the addon works (for things like recommended price, history, open website link etc). I have de-selected the settings options for 'enable auto record' and 'enable guild sales data collection', only leaving 'sync my personal listings'.
I've had the same problem for years(?): SOME of my TTC listings never get posted to the site. Every time there's a new chapter or something where timing matters, of course it's noticeable.

I no longer enable Guild Data; last time this happened it seemed like turning that off helped. (I also tried all the other steps you can think of like making sure TTC wasn't getting Firewalled etc.)

But since Gold Road, listings at some traders hadn't appeared for over 12 hours. Almost like it requires someone ELSE to go to the actual trader location, not bank, and search for the thing.

(EDIT: right now I have a listing showing > 17 hours on the site, after I did everything possible to try to get it to sync. Anyone searching would assume it's gone by now.)

Settings:

Thats expected on patch day. Server and addon won't recognize new locations as those needs to get added to the DB. It will get fixed after you update the addon. Do note that the newer version will not come out immediately after the patch. I need time to make changes and do some testing on live server before its released.

New items will be gradually added to the DB as people discovered them

ZOS also like to update the names for old items so some old items might not get recognize by the server anymore. This will likely be fixed after a day or two.
I think there's a misunderstanding: it's not only on patch days.

I said it's "noticeable" during new updates because timing matters with new items. But it happens any time. Maybe as with the other user you replied to, it's overlapping with site updates and not syncing. But that doesn't make sense if we're syncing multiple times, all day. Again:

listings at some traders hadn't appeared for over 12 hours. Almost like it requires someone ELSE to go to the actual trader location, not bank, and search for the thing.
and
(last seen) showing > 17 hours on the site, after I did everything possible to try to get it to sync.

Idk what else to try short of buying another account.

Could be due to that your upload time overlapped with TTC's daily maintenance window. There are 1-2 daily maintenances for the server and sometimes those could last for over an hour. Postings will get delayed during the time.

I have this problem as well. I thought it was due to the Lost Treasure addon at first (after some troubleshooting) but it's still happening. It's impossible to narrow it down because it only happens occasionally: when turning chunks of addons on/off to troubleshoot this, it's not possible to get it to trigger with any consistency.

Here's a forum post; Baertram has kindly been trying to help:
