How Does It Work?
The simplest addon you may ever find.

Hide or show your helmet by:

Typing "/helmet" or "/helm".
Setting a keybinding by going to Controls -> Keybindings -> Interaction.
Clicking your helmet icon in the equipped apparel window.

Note: This addon does not remove your helmet stat-wise, it is only visual. It toggles the interface option to hide it. You will retain all benefits given for wearing your gear as normal.

Why Does It Exist?
I like keeping things simple. There are other addons that do things with the helmet but they did not do what I wanted. If you want to have your helmet automatically equip or remove based on your combat state then check out Shinni's AutoHideHelmet. Both are compatible with each other. Wykkyd's Full Immersion suit is also able to accomplish what mine does.

Yes, other players will not see you wearing a helmet if it is toggled as hidden.

DeanGrey Forum posts: 22 File comments: 88 Uploads: 3	I didn't realize I was using a different version than I had on here. With that said, mine has been mostly scrapped. Garkin has been nice enough to share some suggestions here and in the feature request area, both of which make sense and have been implemented. So really, most of the credit for the latest version goes to him. You may now left click your helmet icon to hide/show it from within the equipped apparel menu. Enjoy and should any issues arise do not hesitate to report them.

Sorry but that is not possible without unequiping the items. The reason we can hide the helmet is that there is a game setting for it within the gameplay settings. This is not true for the other equipment pieces. All that we are effectively doing is enabling/disabling this setting.

Unfortunately it is not possible. If it ever were to become possible then I would happily modify my addon to support it but I doubt that they will add the option. Traditionally MMO's only allow hiding helmets and capes.
