PersonalAssistant (Banking, Junk, Loot, Repair)  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 2.4.17
by: Klingo [More]

PersonalAssistant V2

There are already many addons out there that support Auto-Repair or Auto-Gold-Deposit functionalities, but none of them had the features I'd like to have seen. Because of that, PersonalAssistant was born.

After a two year long break from ESO, I finally managed to complete the major refactoring that started back in 2017. But not only that, I also added many more features that I could not even have thought of back then. I hope you will have as much fun using this addon, like I had working on it!

PA General
  • Up to eight different account-wide profiles that can be renamed
  • Shortcut to travel to your home (if available)

PA Banking
  • Currencies (gold, alliance points, ...) can be withdrawn from and deposited to your bank
  • Crafting materials can be withdrawn from and deposited to your bank (if you are not ESO Plus Subscriber)
  • Create your own custom rules and decide how many of each item to keep in bank or inventory
  • Other selected items such as motives, recipes, writs, glyphs, trophies etc. can be withdrawn from and deposited to your bank
  • Select if items with [Intricate] trait should be transferred from/to the bank
  • Define a specific amount of lockpicks, repair kits or soul gems to always keep in inventory or the bank
  • Be always ready for Cyrodiil and define how many AvA items to keep in inventory

PA Integration
  • Limited support for FCO ItemSaver regarding "Marked for selling" and "Locked" marks

PA Junk
  • Trash items can be marked as junk
  • Items with the "sell to merchant" information can be marked as junk
  • Treasures (such as the ones found when stealing) can be marked as junk
  • Items with [Ornate] trait can be marked as junk
  • Weapons, Armor, Jewelries, or Glyphs below a certain quality level can be marked as junk (quality threshold can be defined)
  • Junk can be sold at merchants and fences
  • Save time and use keybinding shortcuts to mark items as junk or directly destroy them
  • Mark any item as permanent junk so you never have to deal with it again
  • Items with no sell value can also be destroyed instead of marked as junk

PA Loot
  • Informs you when an unknown recipe is looted
  • Informs you when an unknown motif/page is looted
  • Informs you when an item with a not yet researched trait is looted
  • Informs you when you are running out of inventory space (threshold can be defined)
  • Visually indicates if a recipe, motif, trait, or style page is known (or not) to the current character

PA Repair
  • Repairs your items for you when you visit a merchant (threshold can be defined)
  • Repairs your items out on the field when you have (non-crown) repair kits available (threshold can be defined)
  • Recharges your weapons when they run out of charges and you have filled soul gems available
  • Informs you when you are running out of soul gems, or repair kits (thresholds can be defined)

I currently have 5,067 Grand Repair Kits, 12,300 filled Soul Gems, and 1,344 empty Soul Gems (that I fill using only one toon). I would love to be able to have each toon deposit all but 200 of the repair kits and soul gems and all empty soul gems into the bank. Is there a way to set that up?

Thanks!
You can use the custom rules:

Right click on item (soul gem, etc) -> PA Banking -> Add new rule -> BACKPACK == 200 (or whatever)
Thanks so much!! Works great!!

It is already there, I know because I use it

would be nice if the crafting surveys were separated into groups though.

some lower mats are worth a lot more than the top tier ones and having chars set at these lower skill levels to do specific surveys is what i do and i believe is also done by many other players too.
Thanks, found it (under trophies - as they are in game - duh...)

Thanks Klingo for answering my comments and making some changes

There is another section I think you could add that makes sense and would be helpful.

The Intricates section is fine in itself but there could be another section for green+ Non-Set items such as,

Gear items ... of stamina/health/magica
Weapon items ... of flame/shock/frost
Jewelry items ... of reduce feat cost/reduce spell cost

Then a catch all for all other (decon useful) non-set items such as named items from quest rewards.

(decon useful) = for me is any non-set item green quality and above.

Thanks

I need to check this in more detail this weekend. My first assumption is that these "fish" are actually not considered ITEMTYPE_FISH, but rather ITEMTYPE_TREASURE (or something else), which could explain why they are not banked with other fish, but get junked with other stuff (like treasures).

Edit: According to UESP:ESO they are ITEMTYPE_COLLECTIBLE & SPECIALIZED_ITEMTYPE_COLLECTIBLE_RARE_FISH.
Shouldn't be too difficult to filter them out.

Edit2: V2.4.16 now has a setting in PAJunk under "Quest Protection" to not mark these new rare fish as junk. It is enabled (i.e. it protects the fishes) by default.

Same with marking them as junk. I am not sure what rule does it, likely the general fishing rule, but they don't need to be junked. Need to be an exception like for crows' quests.

Again, I am not using my own translations here but the Game's translations for these itemIDs.
The Oil is the same for all, yes - but there is no faction prefix here?
Thanks was just about to remove this comment I saw that too

Maybe to help others you would consider "profile 1" as the default for new downloads and/or when there is no existing saved variables file.
Actually there is a message in the chat when you load the addon without a profile selected; I assumed this should be enough information

This is not my translation, it is the official name from TESO for ITEMTYPE_FISH - I use directly the TESO texts for these and do not create my own translations.

Ah I see these are new items that have been added to the game. Thanks for the info, I'll try to get the itemIDs and add them.

I guess it is personal taste how much you want to keep of what. If I make 0 the default and you want to have 5 in your backpack you also need to change the value - makes no difference if it starts with 20 or 0

That's the end-goal, but with limited time nowadays not sure if I wille ver get to it.

That's a bug. I just introduced this feature but it seems when creating new rules they are created disabled - I will fix that.

Weird, need to look into that.

Initial usage comments, sorry if its a bit wordy, I am just jotting down what I find. Maybe it is some use later down the line when further refining the addon.

Now yes this may cause a smirk or 2 but I could not see why the options in personal assistant banking would not enable.

Now, I am not dumb (my wife may disagree) but it took a little thinking that maybe i needed to choose a profile. After choosing profile 1 then I could select things.

Maybe I should have read your intro message more carefully

I started my own addon Bag manager because I could not find what I wanted but with this addon I see all the item management controls i was looking for

I can imagine my addon Bag manager could be retiring soon. Well, once I get the custom rules to work. I have set them up but nothing happens at the bank interface so far.

Get a couple of warnings when I select a profile on a character for the first time,

Does not seem to have any effect, just posting for info.

Thanks

For me still working fine - are you really sure they should be deposited and that you don't already have a copy of it in the bank?
Can you please also let me know which maps are not transferred?
Yes, absolutely sure. I have tested it several times.

E.g., on this screenshot -- https://imgur.com/a/tE6ioO0 -- I have only 3 of the maps duplicated:

Betnikh, CWC and Pellitine. Alik'r and Malabal Tor are not duplicated, and I have successfully moved them to the bank manually without closing the banker UI.
