ESO base game "researchable items" filter plugin

This is a filter plugin for the dynamic filters of the "Advanced Filters" addon.
You are able to filter the items by their researchable status, chosing it from the dropdown box at the Advanced Filters subfilter row.

The researchable status is shown by the base game since I think the patch to Clockwork City (or even earlier).
The researchable state only shows the currently logged in character/toon info!

Unfortunately I cannot update the addon officially (and I wouldn't without permission as it is Randactyl's base work) so all I can do is provide the beta versions via comments + GitHub.
I'll start checking the comments on my addons more often. I didn't realize you wouldn't have the access needed to post a change or update the changelog. Makes sense now that you explained it though. Thanks Baertram.

Please update to the most actual version (dated 2018-11-04) and test again:
AF beta 1.5.0.6
Huh.. I had no idea there was a beta version. I've been using it for a long time and letting it auto-update. I haven't had any trouble or seen anything in the changelog that would prompt me to check the comments section. I guess I assumed I had the latest version. (Bad on my part! )
Thanks Baertram! Downloaded the beta and about to fire it up!

Works like a charm! Thanks very much!

Hi Ravenmind,

any hints for me how to rebuild this?
When does the error message appear, what were you doing as it happens?
So far I cannot rebuild it and the source code lines mentioned in the error message make no sense for me so far

I'm getting a LUA error that seems to be with this plugin.
LUA Code:
  1. user:/AddOns/AdvancedFilters/data.lua:1013: attempt to index a nil value
  2. stack traceback:
  3. user:/AddOns/AdvancedFilters/data.lua:1013: in function 'AdvancedFilters_RemoveDuplicateAddonPlugin'
  4. <Locals> filterInformation = tbl, addonInformation = tbl, removedDuplicate = false </Locals>
  5. user:/AddOns/AdvancedFilters/data.lua:1073: in function 'AdvancedFilters_RegisterFilter'
  6. <Locals> filterInformation = tbl, addonInformation = tbl </Locals>
  7. user:/AddOns/AF_ESOResearchableFilter/AF_ESOResearchableFilter.lua:121: in function '(main chunk)'
  8. <Locals> util = tbl, GetFilterCallbackForESOResearchable = user:/AddOns/AF_ESOResearchableFilter/AF_ESOResearchableFilter.lua:3, dropdownCallback = tbl, strings = tbl, stringsDE = tbl, stringsFR = tbl, stringsRU = tbl, stringsJP = tbl, filterInformation = tbl, filterInformation = tbl, filterInformation = tbl, filterInformation = tbl </Locals>

I'm using the following Advanced Filters plugins:
  1. Bound Items Filter
  2. Crafting Material Level Filters
  3. "ESO base game researchable..." (this one)
  4. FCO Item Saver Filters
  5. Item trait type
  6. Quality Level Filter
  7. Stolen Items Filter
I'm posting this here, rather than in Advanced Filters, because the error goes away when I disable the Researchable Filter.

Thanks!!
