Shissu Guild Tools Elsweyr Patch V1.3  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.3
by: Splat, Sordrak
Update of all Shissu modules to enable functionality after the Elsweyr release.

This patch has been worked on by both Splat and Sodrak. Thank you to those who have helped with testing.

This patch file has been tested and is expected to work in most cases, although a number of bugs remain.
Most are related to the additional rank that was added to enable the new invite system to work. The 'Welcomer' module of shissu (whilst it will now place the correct message in the correct guild) has issue with dropping 2 message and is a known bug that will hopefully be addressed in a future update.

I strongly advise that you first BACKUP your AddOns and SavedVariables Folders before installing.

Install this at your own risk. No warranties are offered whatsoever.

Installation:
- Download zip file to a temporary directory (or your desktop)
- Extract all files
- Copy the file to your ...\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns folder replacing all exisiting shissu files

%s%s%s

Its related to a change in they way the api uses placeholders

For the time being you can disable the chat module.

A number of updates and fixes have been put together so that we can have a 95% working version for the time being (including most of those mentioned here)

https://www.esoui.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=2440

Please post any errors on the new download page so that we can use the new patch as a base for fixing them.

I should have ADDED - DISABLE "Shissu's History" from the Game Addon menu. that part of the Addon is still broken I found out later.

I couldn't fix the Shissu's History, that problem is way too complicated for me. But if you do that fix and disable Shissu's History you should at least be able to get the roster to work the LUA bug that happens when you log on won't appear. To me the roster features are the most important thing.

I disabled the 'history' module but left the 'historyscanner' module activated - still crashes but not so badly, the guild interface is mostly usable.

It seems the changes to the way zos are handling the guild history after update 23 are to blame. Its not as simple a fix as with the last set of issues and is not something I have dug into too much in the past. The ability to upload a new patch to shissu's original page on esoui should still be available if someone has the time to look at this before I do (still very busy with RL stuff atm sadly).

stopping the dual message

if you're looking for a way to stop the dual message for the welcomer module, i use this code in another addon:

Code:
if (GetGuildMemberIndexFromDisplayName(guildId, playerName) ~= nil) then
end
surrounding the code to put the message in chat. Essentially this returns nil if they have not actually joined the guild, only been invited, as they won't have a memberindex yet.

Otherwise, I gonna have to stop using it makes it difficult to keep up in the chat box with all these people going online and off-line. Like I said they used to be an option to turn it off, but not anymore. So I going to look for another add-on until it's been fixed. I love certain things in this add-on, but it's very annoying when you can customize some options anymore.
So what I have done his way into my add-on folder and remove member status and seemed to solve my problem.
