Just jumped back into eso and updated my addons, and was surprised to see a flower icon, but I like that
However, I liked the old mining icon better. The pickaxe is odd, since you aren't harvesting pickaxes, and it being upside down is bothering me for some idiotic reason. I was about to say I wish there was a way to get it back, since I am so used to the old one but then I remembered that I had backed up my addons folder at one point and it was there, so I just replaced it myself.

I like the changes! I'm using all your icons except the clothing and trove icons. I get what amazken is saying though, and having consistency is some people's preference. I appreciate that yours are a higher quality and resolution. I don't think it's possible to please everybody, but it is nice of you to provide a different option(s) aside from the original HarvestMap's icon

I think most of the HarvestMap icons are smaller and more streamlined than HarvestPin's. For example, the 'justice' pin only has the thieves guild shape in 'Map but 'Pins has a circle behind it. The 'clothing' pin is easier for me to understand as well. The 'flower' icon is a flower and not a pair of leaves. The 'mining' is an X shape that's easy to identify but in 'Pins it is closer to a solid profile. And the 'Maps pins overall have a thinner black frame than 'Pins. I mean no disrespect to the addon, I just tried to answer your question

This addon has the pleasant side effect of fixing the missing icon problem in the current Harvest Map which was causing map pins and compass pins not to show, and 3D pins only to show the cone base icon.

You could actually fix it by setting ALL pin types to use the generic icon that is still available in the base addon, but then all pins look the same. This solution is way better, plus they look great!

I love this addon; simple, does exactly what it says, and it's beautiful!

The icons, and the glowy pointer, are so lovely, I've been screenshotting them to a friend, who now has the addon too.

similar but opposite to what kad was asking: I want the altered pin style but i'd like to have the HarvestMap's default icons. Is there a workaround for this?

The only issue i have with this add-on is the fact that it lumps blacksmith nodes with jewelry Nodes they are not the same at all its annoying jewelry mats should have their own Icons maybe some sort of gem. For a wish list id like to have a choice of colors for the icons. Over all great work thanks.

It's designed that way. The "worldMarker.dds" image is replaced by HarvestPins. There are TWO fairly easy ways to revert it to the HarvestMap style. You only need to use ONE of these methods, so do whichever seems easier for you. Click on the spoiler tags for directions. (I didn't want this comment to take up an excessive amount of the screen.)
