Great Addon

Great Addon. If I may make a suggestion.

There are those of us, myself included, who are colorblind to some degree. Would it be possible for you to incorporate a unique icon for each of your categories. The color scheme sounds good, but a different icon to go with each color would make this addon nearly foolproof.

I keep deconstructing my alternate gear

I keep deconstructing my alternate gear. To get around selling it accidentally I mark it as junk and it doesn't show up in the vendor list. Could you make it so that any item that is marked as junk would show up with a red X beside it?

Research Assistant v0.6.4 now treats researching traits as "known".

I haven't had time to check, heh. One thing I didn't see in your patch notes is my change to priority, regarding ties at best preference -- I've got a unique color for those now, basically to indicate "don't blindly spam-click deconstruct on this stack." Also, scanning worn items should at least be an option.

Also, might as well mention my top wishlist item: Kaskas pointed out that traits currently being researched are considered "unknown." So far as I can tell, fixing this requires knowing what research line an item belongs to, and I haven't found a way to access that info.

Edit: Actually I'd missed the latest round of notes, it seems you've got preferred-tie handling. How does it behave in the deconstruction display when the items in question are literally identical, i.e. they stack? As long as the pile never goes a "safe" color, I think we're covered.
I have no idea how the color is decided for stacks, because I don't know which slot that stack thinks it is. As it is, it shouldn't be a huge issue because the color will change to orange immediately when it drops to a single item, if it should be orange.

As for the item on your wishlist, it is on my to-do list.

It would be perfect if we can change the different colors. As a colorblind it's a nightmare to see green, orange and yellow -_-'

Thank you

Search the .lua file for the term: SetColor

You'll find it seven times, close together in the file. The full lines will look something like this:

indicatorControl:SetColor(1, 0.8, 0, 1)

The numbers in parentheses are red, green, blue, and opacity. I don't know enough about colorblindness to say for sure, but you'll probably get the best results by swapping red and blue, the first and third numbers. You could also try swapping green and blue (second and third), or of course you can put in completely new numbers and see what happens.
Thank you! I'll play around with the values to see what works best!

Colorblind

Would it be possible to allow for a different color scheme besides Orange/Green/Yellow? This would be very beneficial to colorblind individuals, like myself.

@QuadroTony, the answer provided by @elfindreams appears to be correct. Because I renamed the addon, you've basically got two copies trying to run, and they're both registering the same name, which creates the error. (This would also happen if you installed my version an ingeniousclown's original at the same time.) Just delete one and it should be fine.

I'm not out for glory, and if we reach a point where his mod can be set up to do everything I want and nothing I don't, this one will disappear. Meanwhile, we're coordinating on techniques and bug fixes!
Sounds wonderful! Thank you for the clarification!
