PowerScry
Version: 1.0.1
by: kawamonkey [More]
Allows you to power level your excavation/scrying skill lines with the fastest method currently known!

Note: The character must not have done the scrying tutorial quests for this to work.

Steps:
  1. Go to the Antiquarian Circle as normal and follow the tutorial quests
  2. Scry and excavate the tutorial item for +1 skill line experience
  3. Grab The Antiquarian's Art quest again from Verita Numida to repeat step 2

The addon skips all dialogue and tutorial popups, making the entire process take only around 45 seconds! No more running around Artaeum!

Hat tip to @SnorcTheOrc95 for the idea and help testing this addon
1.0.1
  • Fixed quest abandoning
  • Added dig summary screen skipping

If they already said it's a bug I would not knowingly abuse this.

I'm asking as someone asked in official ESO forums meanwhile and your addon might get more attention now.
As far as I'm aware it's never been flagged as bug by ZOS but I'd appreciate if you can drop me a link to the forums discussion so I can keep an eye on that!

Perhaps remind folks they'll need to drop the quest right after finishing the excavation.

Also, any way to automate dropping the quest? A keybind perhaps? Just a thought.
The quest should be automatically dropped when antiquity digging is complete though the timings might be a bit too tight, let me know if that doesn't happen.

Edit: Just found that wasn't the case, now fixed!

Have you got any other addons that skip dialogue active? I've just tried testing it with my game set to French and the skipping behaves as normal. There's nothing in there that should change the behaviour by language either so I'm a bit perplexed what else could be causing it.
