---

Feature requests (sharing my thoughts here too) [30.04.2014]:
• Ability to change order (this will be a tough one)

Maybe later:
• Support for other addons

Postponed due to API restrictions:
• PvP kill counter (there is no event for pvp kills?!)
v0.8:
- Added font customisation options: You can now change the font, the font style and the font size
- Some code improvements
v0.71:
- Fixed an issue where the bag slots didn't update correctly when using the "sell all junk" option
v0.7:
- Added research timer (shows the time for the next free slot in each crafting skill)
- Added an option to adjust the alpha value of the background (so you can now make the background transparent [0%] or solid [100%])
- Changed the mount timer text
v0.6:
- Added location
- Improved skillpoints (you can now see your unspent, spent and total skillpoints!)
- Updated soul gem visuals
- Updated time visuals (and added an option to choose the time format [12h vs 24h mode])
- Changed the order of components
v0.5:
- Again, some code improvements
- Added bank slots
v0.41:
- Fixed the xp/h not updating
v0.4:
- Massive code improvements in general (performance)
- You can now enable/disable the compass position adjustment (disabled by default - you need to enable this in the settings menu!)
- Fixed soul gem counter
- Added gold/h
- Added friends status
v0.3:
- You can now lock/unlock the StatsWindow (in the settings menu)
- Added a mount feeding timer (timer for your active mount)
- Added xp/hour (I hope this works as intended)
v0.2:
- Added a soul gem counter (displaying soul gem type corresponding to the player's level [empty/filled])
- Added a skillpoint counter (only showing currently available skillpoints - there is no way to get the total [yet])
v0.11:
- Fixed the folder name (deleted the v0.1 at the end)
v0.1:
- Initial release

Duplication

I don't mean to be inflammatory but this is pretty much identical to Bagzim's toolbar which is in Wykkyd's framework now. That framework has over 141,000 downloads. Why duplicate?

I understand if this is a learning effort and of course choices are always good, but there is an aspect of confusing the add-on space with similar but slightly different functionality.

Really just thinking out loud. I don't want to discourage any effort or innovation...

Some people do not want to download an entire framework (e.g. me).

I just wanted to start programming in Lua, I'm usually programming in Java. So this addon is just a learning effort for me and I thought some might like a lightweight addon, even if it already exists in a similar style (thanks datbunneh btw!).
Anyway, I see your point. I'm planning on adding more features, so it differs from existing addons. If you got anything you miss, don't hesitate telling me!

Update!

Please download the new version 0.11, if you couldn't get the addon to work - I fixed the folder name.

great addon! thx a bunch, i dont want to download a whole framework just for a nice toolbar!
many thx!
one suggestion would be to rename the addon so everyone knows its a toolbar (no offense)
another suggestion would be to add a soulgem counter

Some feature requests...

So you want some feature request, huh?
There you go.

1. Ability to change order
2. Background color, border, transparency, fonts, size, position, icons
3. Alignments - left, right, center, justify or even left-center-right blocks (with ability to assign particular elements to specific blocks and change order within those blocks)
4. Support of custom plugins (additional elements provided by other developers). Existing elements (provided by you with the entire addon) might be converted into plugins as well.

Have a nice time coding!

And another suggestion that is great from Bazgrim's toolbar is the bump down of the compass so the game engine text above the compass doesn't interfere.

Lightweight is good, and options are good too. I like the visuals of your addon better than Bazgrim, truthfully.

Suggested counters/feature:

-Bank space -/-
-XP/hour
-Crafting research counters, if possible when hovered over it will show time remaining.
-Plugins from other mods to make then run hidden but show simple number counters on your toolbar, like dps/healing meter (Recount).

I love you have it optional which you want displayed. Look forward to see it where it the order can be moved around. Will be downloading this and trying it when I get home.

New update!

Due to the server downtime I hadn't much time to test stuff, but I added two more components...

v0.2:
- Added a soul gem counter (displaying soul gem type corresponding to the player's level [empty/filled])
- Added a skillpoint counter (only showing currently available skillpoints - there is no way to get the total [yet])

Feedback always appreciated!

@Doskias51: I added some of your stuff to the feature request list.

I like the visual of yours better than Wykkyd's framework toolbar. It will be great if you can add "lock horizontal center" and "enable or disable background" features. Thank you.

Thanks

What do you mean by "lock horizontal center"? You can lock the StatsWindow in the settings menu.
