note - there was some type of change that also broke libchatmessage - there is a code snippet on that page that fixes it or seems to.

Thank you this worked great. To clarify for folks who may have trouble, you edit Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\LibChatMessage\LibChatMessage.lua and replace all 3 occurances of "CHAT_ROUTER:AddEventFormatter" with "ZO_ChatSystem_AddEventHandler".

Yes, it's the latest version. I even did a fresh install, but it's hard to test unless a friend is around. As for the other addons I'm using:

Agreed. I'd forgotten how irritating it was to see my friends' logging activities fill up my chat. I'm really keen for this to start working again.

Like the others said, this addon flatout doesn't work after the update. All friend notifications get printed to chat as if the addon isn't there instead of in the corner of the screen. I updated the API version and the bundled libraries and I still get the same result. The game doesn't think this addon is compatible for some reason. Perhaps, like someone suggested, reworking the code to use that other library might help.

Yes, I noticed the same issue, it has stopped working with the last patch. Like it isn't even there. Messages just go through, and I can't even turn off the notifications. I can't speculate on what caused it though. Maybe it does have something to do with libstub, maybe it doesn't.

That said, while it was working, it was a great little addon, and I can't quite live without it anymore.

I'm pretty sure it's because of it using libstub and yes i get chat messages instead of it moving the message. Several addons that used libstub were updated to use libchatmessage because supposedly libstub is deprecated (this is only what I have read I'm not a dev). Ones that did use libstub stopped functioning.
