This is the updated, improved, and upgraded version of the same addon. It follows the way the game originally handles these events, and is compatible with LibChatMessage.

Added a settings menu with an option to just turn off all login/logoff notifications entirely.

Did you make sure to update to the latest version on Minion? After the changes of the last update, you may have another addon that now overrides this one. Can you disable all others and test it? Posting your addons list here could help me point out the culprit.

It does look like they're trying to improve the chat system, so it's probably worth it. Enjoy! P.S. I added a test button in the addon settings, if you want to see it in action quickly.

Thanks for reporting that error so quickly. I just updated again to fix that one, hopefully it should work for everybody now.

It should get an update in the future to keep up with the changes. Please check if it works for you with the latest update 2.14.
