Clarity  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.1.2

Have you ever died in combat because the enemys attack area was hidden or unclear?
Have you almost missed a glyph, backpack, or lootable enemy that was hidden by long grass?

Then you need some

Clarity

Clarity is a simple Add-On that hides grass and other graphic effects during combat to help making attack patterns easier to dodge. The amount of grass can now be selected.
These options also apply when toggled manually with /clarity or a hotkey. To re-activate the automatic function during combat, use /clarity auto.

As always: Thank you very much, Baertram!
The FastAPI entry was a fragment of the original version (aka "never change a running system") and is now removed.

Code:
## FastAPI : 101031
Just in case you did not know: This is a custom tool (discontinued) which is not updated anyloner, and not a standard eso API manifest file entry.
https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info...continued.html
-> I would not use or add it to the manifest files anymore.

If you want to support multiple API version, just add them to the ## APIVersion: tag. 2 are possible
Code:
## APIVersion: 101031 101032
But as the checkbox ingame "Allow out of date" was removed and you only get 1 hint that you got older addons enabled, after a a patch, the APIVersion in general is now just something for te ons who still think the addons do not work if their apiversion does not match the current game's one

If you want to add a good versioning control in order to let other addons depend properly on your addon's version, you can use
Code:
## AddOnVersion: <unsigned integer>

Never got it to work how I needed so....

I decided to permanently turn grass off in settings and run with it.
Now I never have to worry about ground effects being obscured for anything.
Grass is not something I care about seeing in game anyway so why bother.
This is easier than dealing with the toggle routine.
I was never able to get this to do the grass how I wanted.
So permanently off is perfect for me.

I may be making a mistake -- not unusual for me...
Seems I can't find a settings configuration to solve my issue.
It's very likely a PEBCAK problem.

When I toggle the grass off for farming crafting materials it toggles back on during combat.
This is what appears to be happening.

The hotkey is being used to manually toggle grass off for farming.
If grass is not toggled off it gets toggled off during combat.
If grass is toggled off for farming it toggles back on during combat.
- Using the hotkey during combat will toggle the grass off.
- Then after combat I have to toggle the grass off again.

What I am looking for is a way to have it stay off during combat if it's already off.

Of course, this is probably an organic issue.
Organic being me....

Thank you for the feedback, the Addon is now packaged correctly, sorry for the inconvenience!

With the latest update of ESO, Clarity ceased to work - seems like I forgot a line of code. I'm wondering why it worked before. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Whatever - now it actives as intended!

Small issue with version 1.1.1.

I really appreciate this addon. I like to toggle off the grass when I'm farming crafting materials, and it's useful to have the grass toggle off in combat so I can see all of the effects on the ground. Very useful and easy to use. Thank You!

There's a small issue with version 1.1.1. It's packaged incorrectly. There are files outside of the "Clarity" folder that get put directly in the addons folder when installing Clarity through Minion. They appear to be old files from a former version of Clarity.
