Wizard's Wardrobe

Throw all your setups into the wardrobe and let the wizard equip them exactly when you need it.

Wizard's Wardrobe is an AlphaGear/DressingRoom alternative. It helps you to manage your setups. You can save them per boss per trial and the
auto-equip feature will automatically equip the setup for you.

Features:
  • Manages your gear, spells, cps and buff food
    - Multiple pages per trial (e.g. for different raiding groups)
    - Additional setup slots on each page
    - Deposit and withdraw gear from bank (open WW and bank)
    - Inventory markers that show items in setups
    - Drag and drop spells, gear and food
    - Check for missing items in inventory
  • Auto-equips setups in raids[/indent]
  • Charges your weapons (disabled by default)
  • Repairs your armor (disabled by default)
  • Refills your poisons (disabled by default)
  • Useful hotkeys for prebuffs (Acceleration, Destro Ult, Maneuver, Siege Shield)
  • Import and export setups to other Wizard's Wardrobe users
  • Link setups into chat
  • Hotkey to fix Spaulder

Limitations:
  • Currently only the English, German, Russian and French client are supported for auto-equip
    (Send an edited version of the en.lua from the addon folder if you want your language to be supported!)
  • Not (yet) supported arenas/trials: MSA, DSA, VH
  • There is a 30s cooldown when changing cp, so don't be surprised if the change is delayed sometimes.
  • Features like equipping gear and spells are not working in combat.

- Added a check to the link comparison which is used for the new validation feature.
If the "unequip empty slots" option is turned off this ignores empty slots.
This should help in situations where you only have one piece of gear to swap.

- Fixed set ID recognition in the setup compare function, so now it actually checks the correct variable and not how many pieces are equipped.
- Moved the initial validation function. Now it only validates the setup when equipping a setup instead of moving gear.

Setup Validation
  • Added a setup validation which will notify users if the setup did not swap correctly (has 4 comparison levels adjustable in the settings.
    • This happens after a delay, since the addon needs some time to swap things. This delay is adjustable in the settings.
  • Added an automatic list of steps to fix the failed setup. This is turned off by default.
  • Added a keybind to do these steps "non automatically"
  • Added logging (and a delete log functionality) which saves occurences when setups failed to swap so we may finally get to the bottom of this
  • Added a red color on the info panel which colors the name if the setup failed to swap.
  • Added a confirmation if the setup swapped correctly
    • (at the time of writing, this only notifies users if any gear swapped, if 2 setups have the same gear it will not notify them, this may be changed at a later time.)

Misc
  • Added the ability to chose Center Screen Announcements for the messages given to the user
  • Added EA Pages (thanks to @yachoor )
  • The automatic swap feature does not work in EA since the content is inherently random and i do not think its feasible to add this
  • Changed the Sanity's Edge ID so now the porting feature works too (thanks to @necco889)

One of the biggest flaws in Dressing Room right now is that it uses NewCharacterNameSettings instead of NewCharacterIdSettings.

This means that if a player plays on two servers and has the same character name on two servers, then they'll overwrite each other. The 16-digit character IDs, however, are unique and will allow characters from both servers to coexist without any issues.

Please use the character ID instead of character name in your saved variables, thanks.

I used NewCharacterNameSettings in the beginning for better debugging the SV. Is there a way to convert to character ids? Because just changing it would end in saving all those setups again.

Edit: I just found out it does convert the table by itself.

Would it be possible to have a 'default' boss and 'default' trash setup?
Then, if there's no setup for a given boss/trash for that trial/dungeon, it could use the default, instead of maintaining 100s of different ones

Also, one thing I like about the dressing room UI was that you could just click on an edit box/gear set name, and then edit it, instead of a separate button, but that's a really minor quibble

I also love that you don't need to save each bar and gear loadout separately like in Alpha Gear. (that's why I always stuck with Dressing Room. Well, my version of it anyway)

The outfit ability is cool too. I don't use it much but I know someone else who was excited about it.

IMO default setting for additional setup slots could be at least 1. The ability to make custom triggers is cool, and was mentioned in the addon description but it took me a bit to figure out how to do it.


The ability to sync/link sets for two different toons would be amazing. Or load and copy an existing one. That way, setting up gear sets on multiple toons is much easier
Also maybe a 'after trial/dungeon' general set to auto swap to at the end of a trial for going into solo content

Maybe a 'log' ability for new trials or dungeons, where the addon looks at the bosses you fights and automatically creates a page for it

I thought about a default boss and trash setup but I was not really sure how to do it ui-wise. Maybe I could add a custom trigger for that. But that has to be a global one. Ill definitely look into it! And Ill also add a few helping tooltips for the custom condition part of the addon.

You can use the export/import feature. But yea, a sync feature would probably be easier.

I thought about a default boss and trash setup but I was not really sure how to do it ui-wise. Maybe I could add a custom trigger for that. But that has to be a global one. Ill definitely look into it! And Ill also add a few helping tooltips for the custom condition part of the addon.

More stuff:
Having the ability to have multiple columns of gearsets would be nice, as compared to the current one column only. Though that might be a tad complicated to implement.
Ability to resize it vertically also would be nice.
The ability to resize the skill picture sizes and/or make it smaller in general would be nice too, like what Dressing Room has.




For the default boss and trash setup, I can think of two ways to do it: One, add it to the General page, or two make a new 'Global Dungeon/Trial' trigger page in the trial dropdown. Or maybe call it fallback sets? If
As far as the export goes, it's usable but I think an actual sync would be better. For example for me I have multiple 'copies' of toons which are basically the same. I'd love to be able to change it on one toon and then have it automatically change on all my other DK tanks or Magsorc. But I think the export is a really awesome idea in general. You could be like 'hey what do you use for x boss' and boom you have it done.




Maybe instead of click/shift+clicking on the name of the set have separate buttons. While it's maybe not as nice looking it's also a little clearer.


Also automatically swapping to the trial you're currently is great.

Maybe an automatic hard mode page to be created?


Also possibly an option for a 'start out the trial' set/trigger. For places like Hel Ra, Asylum, etc. where you have to just run a bunch at the start.

Also, if the current bars match what the auto change set is, it still prompts to swap bars when it's not needed

ONe question about this description line:
You have to swap bars to change spells on the other bar.
Wasn't that changed as ZOs impmeneted this kind of new action bar manager so that skills could be even equipped on the backbar without a bar swap? I know it was exactly the way you describe here in the beginnings of e.g. AlphaGear and AG2. But somehow I had in mind this is not needed any longer?!

If you already work on the SavedVariables and as the addon is kinda fresh/new you should add support for multiple servers via the GetWorldName() function e.g. as ZO_SavedVars either 3rd parameter "namespace" or last parameter "profile".
I mean most likely it will not be the case that the characterIds in the SV are exactly the same for the sme account on 2 different servers, but who knows But if you use account settings as well the @displayName will often be the same, and thus settings would overwrite each other at the different servers.

You guys are amazing! I did not saw the AssignSkillToSlotByAbilityId function. I even used the Action Bar Assignment Manager for another thing. I got it working with no problem. Ill update it soon with some other changes.

Just want to comment how much I'm enjoying this addon so far. It's clear a lot of thought was put into it! I used it in vRG last night and it swapped no issues, and the big red SWAP BARS text gave me a chuckle (because we've all been there, in a boss fight with our trash backbar because we forgot to swap...).

I really like how you set up pages for trials - I main magden, and I didn't realize how much I like just having a parse setup for the whole trial, a brittle setup for the whole trial, etc. on separate, clean pages. I can't wait to take it into more trials and let it do some of the work for me

The only issue I had was if I swapped skills out/around from a setup and then we wipe, it reverts back to the saved setup. It would be nice to have a toggle for that in settings, or some solution. But it's a really minor thing - after it did it the first time, I just turned off auto-swap and then turned it back on after that boss.

It would be nice to have pages for DSA and solo arenas, too. Right now I'm just setting them up under General, which is fine - but I do a LOT of DSA carries and it would be nice to have a page for it. But again, a really minor thing. Anyway, Just wanted to say, this addon is great and thank you for making it! I am sharing it around and can't wait to see where it goes.
