Advanced Filters - Set items filters plugin  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 2.2
by: Baertram [More]
ATTENTION:
You MUST use the new AdvancedFilters - Updated version in order to make this plugin work properly!

This is a filter plugin for the dynamic filters of the Advanced Filters UPDATED addon.
It will allow you to
-only show items that belong to a set
-only show items that don't belong to a set
-only show items that belong to a set having a special number of bonuses (up to 4)

It comes in handy if you want to search your inventory for set parts that you need to keep for your guild members/for trading etc. e.g.

Comes in handy together with the addon FCOItemSaver which is able to mark these set items with a customizable symbol with 2 mouse clicks and prevents theses marked items from trading/selling/destroying until you remove the mark again.

This plugin still needs AdvancedFilters BETA to work!

btw: If you use FCOItemSaver you can auto mark your set items based on traits e.g., autobind the missing for your set collections, and all set items that get marked are protected against deconstruction then (depends on the marker icon you define and apply to them, as dynamic marker icons can protect against decon but allow improvement or vice versa e.g.).
Just in case you want to add a level of security so you do not decon anything by accident.

Needs some time to get used to FCOIS but it got so many automatic features, like mark researchables, sets, mark unwated stuff as "to sell" or "to decon", move "to sell" marked to junk with 1 keybind/click, and it integrates into so many other addons so that your items are always protected against loss by decon/extract/destroy/sell/trade/mail etc.
FCOIS kept popping up in my searches but I had stayed away from it because it seemed like I'd get lost in it. However, based on what you wrote here, looks like I'll be diving into it. Sounds really helpful and could add an extra layer of safety for me. Thank you for the advice

I just tested your update and it's a thing of beauty. It works perfectly.

I tried from the ALL section, as well as from Weapons, Armor, and Jewelry and it's great.

Thank you again, I appreciate it!

Thank you so much, I'll give this a try! It's the only reason I haven't been deconstructing on the fly yet. I like to use Sets -> No Set so I can see all the junk to decon.

My apologies for the late reply. It's not because I don't care about it, it's because I didn't get a notice a response was posted. I shouldn't have assumed I would.

I appreciate your work all over the site!

Basically the filtertype used at universal deconstruction (the assistant) is the same as for normal deconstruction: LF_SMITHING_DECONSTRUCT
But maybe the panel found is different somehow and the plugin needs an update to "enable" it at that panel.
I'll have a look next week, quite busy during the weekend.

Edit:
maybe it is enough to add those filterTypes to the filter addition:
ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_UNIVERSAL_DECON_ALL = 0,
ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_UNIVERSAL_DECON_WEAPONS = 0,
ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_UNIVERSAL_DECON_ARMOR = 0,
ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_UNIVERSAL_DECON_JEWELRY = 0,

I'll pass you the code you need to change here in the file AF_FCOSetFilters.lua and you can test this.
Change these lines near the bottom, ~140ff:

Code:
local filterInformation = {
	submenuName = "FCOSetFiltersSubmenu",
	callbackTable = fullLevelDropdownSetsCallbacks,
	filterType = {	ITEMFILTERTYPE_ARMOR, ITEMFILTERTYPE_WEAPONS,
					ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_ARMOR_SMITHING, ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_WEAPONS_SMITHING,
					ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_ARMOR_WOODWORKING, ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_WEAPONS_WOODWORKING,
				  	ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_ARMOR_CLOTHIER,
				  	ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_RETRAIT_ARMOR, ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_RETRAIT_WEAPONS, ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_RETRAIT_JEWELRY,
				  	ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_JEWELRY_CRAFTING,
	},
To this:

Lua Code:
  1. local filterInformation = {
  2.     submenuName = "FCOSetFiltersSubmenu",
  3.     callbackTable = fullLevelDropdownSetsCallbacks,
  4.     filterType = {  ITEMFILTERTYPE_ARMOR, ITEMFILTERTYPE_WEAPONS,
  5.                     ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_ARMOR_SMITHING, ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_WEAPONS_SMITHING,
  6.                     ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_ARMOR_WOODWORKING, ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_WEAPONS_WOODWORKING,
  7.                     ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_ARMOR_CLOTHIER,
  8.                     ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_RETRAIT_ARMOR, ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_RETRAIT_WEAPONS,
  9.                         ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_RETRAIT_JEWELRY,
  10.                     ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_JEWELRY_CRAFTING,
  11.     ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_UNIVERSAL_DECON_ALL,  --new added
  12.     ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_UNIVERSAL_DECON_WEAPONS,   --new added
  13.     ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_UNIVERSAL_DECON_ARMOR,   --new added
  14.     ITEMFILTERTYPE_AF_UNIVERSAL_DECON_JEWELRY,   --new added
  15.     },

Kepp all other lines the same below and above.
Save, ingame do a /reloadui and test if it works

I don't get what you are trying to do here and what the problem is?
