PersonalAssistant V2

There are already many addons out there that support Auto-Repair or Auto-Gold-Deposit functionalities, but none of them had the features I'd like to have seen. Because of that, PersonalAssistant was born.

After a two year long break from ESO, I finally managed to complete the major refactoring that started back in 2017. But not only that, I also added many more features that I could not even have thought of back then. I hope you will have as much fun using this addon, like I had working on it!

PA General
  • Up to twenty different account-wide profiles per module that can be created/copied/deleted/renamed
  • Keybinding to travel to your primary home (if available)

PA Banking
  • Currencies (gold, alliance points, ...) can be withdrawn from and deposited to your bank
  • Crafting materials can be withdrawn from and deposited to your bank (if you are not ESO Plus Subscriber)
  • Create your own custom rules and decide how many of each item to keep in bank or inventory
  • Other selected items such as motifs, recipes, writs, glyphs, trophies etc. can be withdrawn from and deposited to your bank
  • Select if items with [Intricate] trait should be transferred from/to the bank
  • Define a specific amount of lockpicks, repair kits or soul gems to always keep in inventory or the bank
  • Be always ready for Cyrodiil and define how many AvA items to keep in inventory

PA Integration
  • Support for various FCO ItemSaver marks
    • PABanking: Deposit or withdraw item marked for/as Research, Deconstruction, Improvement, Selling at guildstore, and Intricate
    • PABanking: Locked items will not be moved
    • PAJunk: Sell items marked for selling
    • PAJunk: Locked items will not be sold

PA Junk
  • Trash items can be marked as junk
  • Items with the "sell to merchant" information can be marked as junk
  • Treasures (such as the ones found when stealing) can be marked as junk
  • Items with [Ornate] trait can be marked as junk
  • Weapons, Armor, Jewelries, or Glyphs below a certain quality level can be marked as junk (quality threshold can be defined)
  • Junk can be sold at merchants and fences
  • Save time and use keybinding shortcuts to mark items as junk or directly destroy them
  • Mark any item as permanent junk so you never have to deal with it again
  • Items below a definable sell value can also be destroyed instead of marked as junk

PA Loot
  • Informs you when an unknown recipe is looted
  • Informs you when an unknown motif/page is looted
  • Informs you when an item with a not yet researched trait is looted
  • Informs you when a set item is looted that is not yet part of your set collection
  • Informs you when a companion item is looted
  • Informs you when you are running out of inventory space (threshold can be defined)
  • Visually indicates if a recipe, motif, trait, or style page is known (or not) to the current character

PA Repair
  • Repairs your items for you when you visit a merchant (threshold can be defined)
  • Repairs your items out on the field when you have repair kits available (threshold can be defined)
  • Recharges your weapons when they run out of charges and you have filled soul gems available

I would love to be able to have each toon deposit all but 200 of the repair kits and soul gems and all empty soul gems into the bank. Is there a way to set that up?

Thanks!
You can use the custom rules:

Right click on item (soul gem, etc) -> PA Banking -> Add new rule -> BACKPACK == 200 (or whatever)

Request

One aspect of Personal Assistant where I believe there could be an improvement is with the way the current profiles are implemented.

For instance when you create multiple profiles you need to define everything each time including the rules and I can see from the settings I make only 4 or 5 things are different between each of my profiles.

It would be nice if there could be the option to use 2 profiles based on the order top to bottom shown on the settings page.
The first as a primary profile and the second as a support profile.

For instance some profiles could be set up as,

Common
Mag Healer
Mag DPS
Stam Tank
...
Writ Crafter
... etc

This is more for me about managing the profiles than the initial setting up. With 2 accounts and 36 characters I lose track of what I have set. Maybe I am making something out of nothing. Anyway it is just an idea.

Red face Too old for the new math

Can you give a better explanation or any actually.. on the function of the >=,==,<= statements? The only thing I've been able to make work is ==.. move amount x one direction or the other.

I thought I had it..

What I'm looking to do is this.. when X is greater then or equal to (">=?") say 200 in the bank, then move it to the backpack..

If you set the Bank = 200, anything over 200 will be moved into your backpack. At least that is what happens from my experience.

I'm also a little confused on the >= and <= setup myself.

Is there a way, for us non-ESO+ types, to get a function that would be similar to...

"CraftBag and Bank" == 200

Essentially, taking the sum from the craftbag and bank for an item, and then adding / removing anything below / above that total from the Bank?

Backpack == 200 means I always want exactly 200 of this thing in my backpack after interacting with the bank. If I have 199, withdraw 1. If I have 201, deposit 1.
Backpack <= 200 means I never want to have more than 200 of this thing in my backpack. If I have 1 or none, do nothing. If I have 201, deposit 1.
Backpack >= 100 means that I never want to have fewer than 100 of this thing in my backpack. If I have 300, do nothing. If I have 99, withdraw 1.

Dram vs Essence?

I have noticed that when I created a rule for crafted tri-pots (Essence of Health with health, stamina, and magicka restores), it applies to every "of Health" crafted potion, e.g. a simple Dram of Health.

Feature Request: Is it possible to differentiate between crafted potions by level and/or by traits?

As a non-plus player, this addon seems a godsend. There are 2 points: one bug and one request.

1) why the limit of 8 profiles? I have 9 characters (base game + Elsweyr is already 9 free slots, not to mention those you can buy in the store), who each need their own profile because they store different crafting mats. I can't simply decide to skip my 9th character either, because then I get spammed on login by that annoying "pick a profile" message that I can't switch off. Please consider increasing the limit, at the very least up to 9 - since every player who owns Elsweyr will have 9 available slots.

2) the addon doesn't recognise Daedra Husk, Carapace, or Foul Hide as junk, despite them clearly being marked as such. I have both "mark trash as junk" and "mark 'sell to merchant' as junk" enabled, yet it refuses to move these items. It does recognise Spoiled Food and Ash, so it's not that it doesn't function at all - it's just erratic.
I know I can add them manually by right-click 'add rule', but I don't want to have to do this for all the not-recognised trash on all my characters when it's something the addon is supposed to be doing on its own.

It would be possible, but I don't own a storage chest so I have no way to verify if whatever I'm trying to implement actually works

macdesktops' answer is the perfect explanation. But I see that this causes again and again confusion, so I might need to consider replacing it with a more "textual" version.

Technically possible, but would make it a whole lot more complicated :-/

The rule is created based on the itemId of the item... which apparently is the same for all "of Health" potions, mhh. I might need to change this to the ItemUniqueId then, but this would make all existing rules not work anymore afterwards

Inefficient resource utilization for the current profile storage logic
It does not matter if you use only 1 profile or all 8, it always uses up the resources to store 8 profiles. So if I extend it to e.g. 20, then every player with this addon has the 20 profiles loaded in memory. Therefore I wanted to keep the number small until the Profile stuff is getting re-factored. But considering I can't even find the time to bring the PABanking stuff to the next level, I might implement a quick solution for this.

Can it be that under the "Quest Protection" settings you have the Clockwork City Quests enabled? Because these items are used for daily quests there and if this option is turned on PAJunk will not mark them as junk (i.e. saves them for you for the daily quest)

D'oh! I was afraid it was something like that. Oh well.

I would appreciate that very, very much. Even as few as just 1 more would really make a difference.

Oho, I wasn't aware of that. I did have those particular settings turned on, indeed, just in case I'd ever get a free trial again.

Although just yesterday I bought 1 month of plus to get access to the Murkmire event, so I guess I'm going to dredge up these pieces of trash from the buyback tab to save them for those quests. After all, Clockwork City is on my list of DLCs I want to get into this month. :3

Thanks for the quick replies!

Guildbank and CraftingBag

Hello,
first of all I love your addon. It is one of my most favourite once and makes live just so much more comfortable.

I do have two suggestions, which would make it even more awesome.

Number one: is it possible to also have rules for your different guild banks, since you usually do not change guilds every other day this could be a very powerful and nice feature.

Number two: a friend of mine does not have eso plus and is therefore playing without a crafting bag.
Hence it would be really handy to include options for the different crafting- stil- trait- materials to set rules for. Because it is quite tedious to make manuel banking rules for each one of them.

A combination of both suggestions would be amaizing.

Regards,
ExoY

Not planned in the near future. The guild bank is much more complex than the player bank, especially with the features that are currently implemented in PA.

This option already exists in PABanking?
