In Development - Early Release Version

I don't like how bland the normal status bars look, so I redid them in a vertical, curved format. The eventual plan is to allow configuration of colors and placement. A key thing I'm trying to replicate is any bonus visuals the default status bars have - health regen, getting your max magicka buffed, armor being weakened, etc. It's in a transition phase (hence it being an early release version), but regen and degen should work for all bars. It doesn't replace the bars as of yet; the final version will give the option of doing so.

Please give feedback for any bugs.

  • player / target information updates if a level is gained.
  • basic visuals added (power gains and losses, stat max changing, etc)
  • various bug fixes
Still a lot to do, but it's moving along...

HepHUD.oAlpha = {nNormal = 0.1, nUsed = 0.6}

change the properties in this line to alter the alpha levels.

Looking forward to future updates. This has potential to be the most essential addon ever for the game because it's the most efficient design for resource bars. Blows horizontal bars away.

This is a breath of fresh air. When I was a WOW player, archud was a must. Vertical curves just make way too much sense. Having bars offset all over your screen overwhelms the eye. While you are checking to see if you have enough XXX to do XXX your enemy, whether pvp or pve has a 1-2 full sec window while you are paying attention to XXX. All that info an eye flick away, yeah, an absolute must have. Your the man (or lady). Faved.

If I can make a suggestion/request... it would be nice if we could have an option to display HepHUD only when in combat (or an option to adjust alpha value for "in combat" and "not in combat" visibility, with the possibility to set alpha to 0 for "not in combat" mode). Also, the possibility to adjust size and position on the screen (center around the reticle is the best choice for visibility, but if we could adjust the gap between left and right bars, for example, in addition to the possibility of resize the bars/icons, it would be perfect)

Again, thanks for this add-on !
Keep up the good work. Try to keep this add-on clean and light, without too many additional features (but some settings to adjust already existing parameters/values would be great)

I too would love to see this option. I used IceHUD in WoW and configured my bars to show my data on the left and my target's data on the right. Also it would be nice to see an ally target's mana and stamina, but I don't know if that's possible. Nice work so far.

Absolutely Love the work so far man! I have always liked this style HUD, and it looks great so far. Keen on trying out the updates as they come.

I was actually going to create a mock up in photoshop of a hud exactly like this to ask one of you devs to make it. I use to use one just like this in wow (i forget the name of the addon) but it was very customizable. I know this is a new addon but I have a few suggestions if you don't mind.

1. Give us an option to have the hud fade out when out of combat *if* all resources are replenished to 100% and while at 100% resource capacity when hovering over a target the hud becomes visible.

2. Give us the option to resize it. Its a bit big and would like to shrink it down a bit.

3. Add the health number amount of the enemy bar at the bottom so we know how much health our target has.

4. I've been asking War Genesis to create a Ultimate Bar in his character bar addon but since you have made the hud style I prefer to use, I'll ask you if you can some how create an additional hud bar for our Ultimate Charge (basically like having a 2nd magicka bar but one that show us our Ultimate charge).

At first glance those are my suggestions/requests, if I think of any more I'll let you know.

LUA Missing from Update 0.4

Yo man, I just downloaded the new update, and the LUA File is not in the .zip. I am guessing this would be a mistake?

Ah, one suggestion:

Can you put a 25% mark on the enemy health bar? Or on bioth health bars.
Ooooor with a settable percentage.

Something like the lower x% of the bar is painted a little darker.

There are several skills that trigger more effects when the enemy has low health, etc.

Found one Bug, if you lvl up it does not update the info until /reloadui.
