Be aware that developing and testing this addon is subject to if a event is currently running and how tickets are awarded for the event.

Works in Gamepad Mode and Keyboard/Mouse Mode

This addon will help prevent you from turning in quests that reward event tickets, or taking loot that rewards Event Tickets, or use the Jubilee Cake, when it would cause you to miss out on tickets due to having too many.

While the Anniversary Jubilee event is active, looking at a Jubilee cake will show the number of tickets you currently have, If you have used it for the current day, it will show a timer until the next reset.

There is a setting called, "Help me save tickets.",
  1. for quest, will auto close the quest turn-in interaction
  2. for Jubilee cake, disable the ability to interact with the Jubilee cake
  3. for loot tickets, auto-loot will skip tickets
if the rewarded tickets + the tickets you have total more than 12

NOTE:
If the amount of tickets do not update to the amount available for the current event, it can be changed in the settings.

Error when handing in Quests

Hi there,

first, thank you for this helpful little addon.

Though, recently I am getting an error, when handing in quests. It was a pain to filter it down to the addon it is causing it, but after some testing I can say, that the Ticket Saver seems to be the "culprit".

When ever I hand in a quest, no matter if event related or not, I get this error message (interestingly with no clue to what addon it is causing it):

Lua Code:
  1. Attempt to call a nil value
  2. stack traceback:

Turning off the Ticket Saver, solves the issue.

Though, I am not sure, if any ohter addons could interfere with the Ticket Saver.

It's not a major issue, but just wanted to let you know.

Maybe you could take a look into it or give me hints, what sort of other addons could trigger this error.

Thankfully I had an old Vvard daily to turn in. I ran up to turn it in and received no error.
Yeah. need more to go on. The full error message would be best.

Update: I tried in both game modes.

Hi, thanks for your quick relpy.

Well, the weird thing is, this IS the entire message I am getting, with the "more details" box checked. Only these two lines.

I tried if it happens, when only Ticket Saver (and dependencies) are enabeled. And yes, it looks the same. So in my case no other addon seems to be involved.

I anyway use 'crtl+a' and 'crtl+c' when copying an error message to be sure I get all the lines.

So yeah, weird. But there's no hurry, I deactivated it for now and use my own grey cells to remember the count of my tickets

Wait. What? That very odd. I'm suspecting it's a conflict. I know it's a pain but, when you have time could you run test by removing other addons to see if it is conflicting with one of them. If that can be narrowed down then I can take a look to see where we clash.

So, you say, I have to UNINSTALL all my addons to see if it's this addon causing it?
Is there a difference between disabling and uninstalling all other addons?!

Well...

I will think about it.

Though, still wondering how addons can interfere/conflict if they are off/not loaded?

I will give you an update, if I am not too lazy to de-/reinstall all my addons.

Oh, not uninstall. These test just require disabling. I suggest using AddonSelector to save your current setup.
Then the common method is to disable half and see if it changes things. if it does, then you know it is within that half. If not, then try the next.
If you do find it changes when disabling a group of addons, you can work back from there, re-enabling one at a time until it happens again.
Like I said, only when you have time. Also, if you are up to it. As of yet, I don't see any way I can diagnose this.

Have you updated to 1.7.2 yet? Just to be sure.

Another suggestion. Check the "interface.log" to see if there are any other errors in there.
You can open it up and just search "error".
