Somehow this addon is still giving me the old fashioned settings menu for specifically this addon. Outside the addon settings menu that all other addons use these days. And it is really starting to annoy me, especially because it doesn't even do anything.
Am I doing something wrong? Or is it the addon and is it something the author overlooked or just not came around to fixing yet?

Not "overlooked". All Harven Addons using his Settings Library (own menu entry)
Even if it is the only addon, you must selected it (click title) to see the settings.

And why can't it use the addon settings menu "all" other addons use? :/
Also, I have 7 "Harven's" addons installed. But this is the only one doing this...

Just know that I do appreciate this addon. I was getting so annoyed by the settings menu thing that I was getting close to throwing it away, but I could not make myself do it, because the addon is just too awesome for that :P

I love this addon! It saves me so much time when deconstructing things. Before I had to cross-reference with the AI Research Grid addon which got tedious really fast, but now I just skip over it if I see red :D

The motif tooltip is nice too, I'm relatively new so I can't identify the types too easily by eye.

I got Covenant's Arm Cops with Reinforced trait in Rewards of the Worthy mail -- and the attachment tooltip showed RESEARCHABLE. I took the attachment, and in backpack the tooltip shows KNOWN TRAIT. After a check at Clothing station, the backpack tooltip is correct. Has anyone seen incorrect tooltips in mail? I checked several other items and they all had correct tooltips in mail.

Edit: weird, after adding some debug output and /reloadui, the mail tooltip is correct, now

Got the researchable trait bug again. I finished researching Reinforced Gauntlets while offline. Now the item preview tooltip at the crafting station shows researchable, but of course I can craft it. It's hard to catch because it only occurs at the first login after offline research completion, and only affects traits obtained from links (via traitTable).

Found the cause of the bug. Upon login, GetSmithingResearchLineTraitInfo returns known=false and GetSmithingResearchLineTraitTimes returns remaining=nil for the trait that finished researching offline. I'm going to fix it with lazy initialization of the traitTable, as I think deferring that from add-on load to when it's actually needed, i.e. when a tooltip is displayed, is better.

Got it. I knew my stupid usage of outdated color constants would bite me one day Will post a fix once I squash another bug I've found.

If you modify this function anyway, I would like to suggest not to do a massive use of the .. operator and build text as a table with table.concat at the end.
I heard the .. operator used that way produces a lot intermediate strings.
