ZAM BuffDisplay  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.2.2
by: Seerah [More]

Notice: I have retired from ESO. If you wish to take over this addon, please send a PM to Cairenn.

This addon displays the buffs/debuffs of both the player and the reticle target. Currently, buffs/debuffs are grouped together.

**NOTE: As of the recent API restrictions, only long term buffs (and debuffs?) are displayed. Timeless buffs for targets (at least friendly ones that I've noticed so far) also display, so I have not removed the code for reticle targets. **

Features:
  • Buff names are colored green and debuff names are colored red. --> New in 1.2: you may customize the colors
  • The groups of buff bars are movable.
  • There is an option to grow upward or downward.
  • The statusbar may be hidden.
  • Options displayed in the game's Settings menu via LibMediaProvider.
  • Option to change the font on the bars and the bar textures(using LibMediaProvider).
  • Option to change the color of the statusbar.
  • Options to control visibility based on combat, attackable target, and in menus

Known Issue:
For some reason the icon texture for food buffs doesn't display. It's returned by the GetUnitBuffInfo function and the path is set to the texture, but it seems to be invisible...

v. 1.0.4

I wish that someone would update this or make a new one. It's useful for roleplay, as werewolves can sense the smell of the beast on others of their kind.

Anything that doesn't have a countdown timer next to it basically.

Also, a size option and transparency.
With respect, the buff menu fills more than enough of my screen.

Yes, those were removed from the game's UI. Which is why I updated LibMediaProvider. If you had one of those fonts selected, then LMP should return the default since the font can no longer be found. I don't understand how this is not working for some of you. (If you want access to those fonts again, download LMP MediaStash.)

Honestly, without being able to see short term buffs and debuffs this addon isn't really useful for me at all. Would love to see this more polished.

I tested it and it was indeed the font. A number of the fonts are too large or something and don't display any text. Other fonts work fine. Thanks for posting.

Did you look to see what font you are using for your buffs? I patched up LibMediaProvider to fix missing fonts (that were removed from the game files) and included the new version of the library in this version. But try changing your font.
I will look at that....thx for the reply

little repost, i believe the author wil look at it

any updates of current buffs? for now it shows like 50% of all buffs in game or even less
like other addons too

is it possible at all? i mean add buff like that:
1) detect if player using bow
2) detect if he doing doubletap
3) detect if he has passive of bow line to increase movement speed
4) show buff for 3 sec after doublepat. increasing movement speed bonus

Yeah, I'm seeing the active buff icons only instead of the normal buff display. Never seen that before.

any updateds of the buffs? we still have A LOT of debuffs/buffs
do not displayed by any addon
and i think they are not presented in the API
but we can add them by hands right?
a lot of set items buffs
enemies debuffs like simple slow after throw dagger skill, etc

or shield bash, or many other skills, etc

WE NEED THIS BADLY
