EasyTravel  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.7.1
by: sirinsidiator [More]
This simple and lightweight addon makes traveling to other zones easy as never before.
Instead of having to select a player that you want to travel to like in similar addons it takes a different approach and you just need to right click on the zone in the location tab of the map screen.
In the background it will scan your group, friend list and guild rosters for players that you can jump to and then attempts to travel to the target location via them.
The list of players is sorted by source, champion points and level, meaning it will look for the highest level group member, then friend and finally guild member to travel to.
It also automatically detects errors and tries to jump to a different player, or wait for new targets when there are none left.

Slash commands:
/tp (aliases: /travel, /goto)
Without arguments the command will teleport you to your group leader while you are in a group and not the leader yourself, or to your current zone otherwise.
If you start typing anything as an argument, it will autocomplete to zone names or players that are available as jump targets. It will also accept partial names and complete them internally to the first item in the auto complete list.
v1.7.1
- updated for Dragonhold

v1.7
- added alert message when jumping is not possible
- removed bundled LibSlashCommander (make sure to install it separately!)
- updated for Elsweyr

v1.6.1
- updated for Murkmire

v1.6
- updated LibSlashcommander (fixes the auto completion showing up when browsing through the command history)
- always show auto completion results, even when they don't match the current input too well
- moved the travel dialog up, so it no longer overlaps the health bar (thanks Scootworks)

v1.5.2
- updated for Summerset

v1.5.1
- fixed some players not getting considered as targets for the current zone
- updated for Dragon Bones

v1.5
- added the brass fortress to the zone list since it is handled as a separate zone from the clock work city
- reopen map if it was open before and the jump is cancelled
- fixed jump to group members not working as expected
- fixed some issues when jumping to a house while at a wayshrine

v1.4
- implemented "focus on player" feature
- updated for Clockwork City

v1.3
- fixed unhandled error still showing up
- updated for Morrowind

v1.2
- added houses to /tp command (use /tp home to travel to your primary house)
- fixed an unhandled error when using /tp without arguments inside certain quest areas

v1.1.4
- added Russian localization (thanks Scope)

v1.1.3
- fixed map not disappearing in combination with some other addons when traveling while at a wayshrine

v1.1.2
- updated LibSlashCommander
- added description for slash command autocompletion

v1.1.1
- fixed /tp without arguments not working in delves and dungeons.
- added a warning when /tp doesn't find the entered name (instead of just traveling to the current zone)

v1.1
- added slash command support
- added French localization (thanks Ayantir)
- fixed a bug which caused a jump to start at unexpected times after it has been cancelled

v1.0.1
- removed alliance check
- updated api version in manifest

v1.0
- replaced chat output with a dialog
- improved error handling
- implemented waiting for target mode
- added german localization

v0.3
- initial release

LibSlashCommander

Please add info to the description that it requires LibSlashCommander. Will save time for newcomers, like myself.

It's not a bug. It's a feature! "Daenia Dolmen Manor" is the default nickname of Daggerfall Overlook (since it is right beside the Daenia Dolmen). You can change the nickname of your houses in the housing editor.

There is a typo in there.

The zone is called "Elsweyr", not "Elswyer". I just tried it and it works fine when using the correct name.

/tp no longer working

Great mod. Makes life for my alt toons that haven't explored everywhere yet a lot easier. Since the last update, I can't use the /tp command anymore. I used that primarily, but I guess it still works when you left click the location name.

I love this concept

Is there a way you can make it so that if no one is available in the desired zone it will TP you to someones home in that zone?

I think there's an addon that lets you travel to anyone's home not just their primary as long as you have perms?

Thanks for your hard work,
E

Nice addon. Would it be possible when right-clicking on a specific shrine it would send you there, instead of zooming out? How about an optioinal toggle to prioritize travelling to the zone's big city?

I noticed that a similar addon can port to delves and "inner maps" like the Brass Fortress, Halls of Regulations.
"BeamMeUP"

No idea how well working or integrating functionality works, but I think these 2 addons could fuse together nicely
Missing the command line abilities with the other one.

Brass Fortress as The Clockwork City

Any chance that you would also consider people in Brass Fortress as The Clockwork City?

Thank you.

I'm sorry to hear that your game has become unplayable due to this. I will add something so that people from the ignore list are ignored as targets. Until then you could try to use "/tp va", "/tp rd" or "/tp nf" instead. They should all bring up Vvardenfell as the first result too.
