This addon changes some aspects of the combat and pvp related user interface in order to remove some annoyances.

Features:
  • Objectives List for the Worldmap
  • Keep and Resource Levels on the Map and Compass
  • Keep status, Kill and Resurrection notifications in chat
  • Numbers on target health and player attribute bars
  • Class icon on target players
  • Differently colored target health bar for Vampires and Werewolfs
  • Ability Links in chat
  • Settings to disable every part of the addon individually
  • and more

Known issues:
  • Chat messages for when you resurrect someone else are inferred from different sources and may be inaccurate in some situations.
  • Kill assist notifications are not shown when the player dies, but instead when he respawns. They also show up when you killed the player with the last hit and got the kill message already.
  • Keep or resource levels may not show up on the compass in some cases.

we need:
- promt message when some1 took, lost ot keep the scroll in the chat, like with other pvp events
- write in the chat smthing like "entering Alessia castle" "leave Alessia castle", "entering Faregyl mine" etcetc - usefull for leech more AP etc

These messages already show up ingame as a center screen announcement and alert message respectively so I did not add them for now. I already tried adding the location message, but it was rather spammy as you change locations all the time. Might not be desirable to have in chat unless it is filtered a bit.

scroll message very important if you playing in pvp alot you must to know - sometimes you can distract turn your head away from monitor and lost the message
but chat will keep it and you will see later

can you change your mind pls?
its very important for me as for experienced pvp-player

Don't worry, I plan to add the scroll message. Just didn't want to wait any longer with releasing it, because there are so many other useful things already in.

we need to detect which place in leaderboard we got
like in 2%(gold reward) or 10%(purple reward)
not sure if this addon match it

that should be quite easy theres api functions for the leaderboard

It's impossible with the current API.
You can't find out how many players are in a campaign, so you can't calculate if you are in the top 2% or 10%. Maybe some day a nice developer at ZOS will add a GetAllianceWarRewardState() function which returns which reward range you are in, but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

- take scroll from the keep/temple
- pickup scroll from the ground
- save scroll at the temple/keep
- drop scroll
- returned to the place where it was taken from(when scroll was on the ground too long)

this is all events with the scroll i believe

Error

I got this error just now, and I figured I'd report it:

user:/AddOns/sidWarTools/misc/ShieldFix.lua:11: operator - is not supported for number - nil
stack traceback:
user:/AddOns/sidWarTools/misc/ShieldFix.lua:11: in function 'OnUnitAttributeVisualUpdated'
EsoUI/Ingame/UnitAttributeVisualizer/UnitAttributeVisualizer.lua:51: in function '(anonymous)'

It's giving me this error every single time I cast Hardened Ward. I had to disable the shield slash command thing under settings for it to stop giving me this error every time I cast shields.

It shouldn't be necessary anymore anyways. The last incremental game patch is supposed to fix this issue. That's probably also why it throws an error now.

The health bar visual for shields will no longer become stuck after having multiple shield effects active at once.
Last line in the latest patch notes.
Can you give me the exact order in which you cast what skills and swap weapons, so I can reproduce it?

I can't even say I'm surprised they can't fix this. I just had to relog because I was stuck with a phantom 7k shield after I died, and just a few days ago I had a 238k "shield" (I just kept it going without relogging just for ****s and giggles to see how high it would get). Seems like every 1-2 hours I have to relog because of this stupid bug. Just like the fear being "fixed" and not making you fall through the world as they mentioned in the patch notes, which still happens to me at least twice a week.

Order of shields? Humm, I'm always stacking Hardened Ward and Dampen Magic and when I'm low on health I pop Healing Ward to get back up to full.

bugged again

Is there a debug mode available by chance? Even with /resetshields I got bugged again just now (using the new 0.2.1 version of the add-on) with a 20k shield after I died. Had to relog to fix it. Swear, every 1-2 hrs I gotta relog because of this bug. ugh.
