Eyefinity Support  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.2.1
by: Tinuviel [More]
Constrains the User Interface to the center monitor in Eyefinity / Nvidia Surround
If you don't know what these technologies are, this addon is not for you

Eyefinity support has been updated to work as a WykkydFramework extension. As such, the new version requires Wykkyd Framework. Once you install both, you must go to Settings -> Wykkyd -> Multiple Monitor Setup. From there, select (3) monitors and (2) as the target, then enable 'Multi-Monitor support'.

Version 1.2.0 + 1.2.1
- Adds two settings to override the bezel correction value. Can be accessed by Settings->Wykkyd->Eyefinity Settings. Note, you must turn on 'Override Bezel Correction' for your value in 'Bezel Width' to apply.
- Fixed hook into Wykkyd's 'Enable Multi-Screen Support' option. Will now correctly apply element changes when you turn multi-screen support on and off (most prominent when using bezel-corrected resolutions).
- Refactored code to be more maintainable.

---------------------------------------------
Eyefinity support adds mostly-complete fixes to the User Interface to make ESO compatible with triple monitor systems. Fixes the following parts of the ui:
  • NPC Dialogs!
  • Raid and Party frames
  • (Esc) Menu
  • Quest Tracker
  • All tabs in the main menu (Map, Social, Mail, Notifications, Help, Groups, Guild, Skills, Quests, Alliance War)
  • Equipped Gear
  • Main menu keybindings (etc, the [Alt] Quit)

Known Issues:
  • While turned on, you cannot resize the chat window. Attempts result in the window moving a monitor to the right (Not sure I can fix). You can get around this by going to wykkyd settings and disabling milti-monitor support, making your resize, then re-enabling
  • After log-off and log-on, the chat window may be shifted one monitor to the right.
Version 1.2.1
- Fixed conversation window bug when toggling multi-screen support on and off

Version 1.2.0
- Adds two settings to override the bezel correction value. Can be accessed by Settings->Wykkyd->Eyefinity Settings. Note, you must turn on 'Override Bezel Correction' for your value in 'Bezel Width' to apply.
- Fixed hook into Wykkyd's 'Enable Multi-Screen Support' option. Will now correctly apply element changes when you turn this on and off (most prominent when using bezel-corrected resolutions).
- Fixed errors and UI display issues when turning multi-screen support on and off. If you turn it off, then on again, the conversation window breaks. /reloadui fixes the problem (I'm trying to fix it)
- Refactored code to be more maintainable.

Version 1.1.4 Features
- Changes equipment tooltips to show on the right of the button, instead of the left.

Version 1.1.3 Features
- Fixes overflowing black backgrounds on the equipment, skills, and map screens

Version 1.1.2 Features
- Fixes accidentally broken non-bezel corrected resolutions

Version 1.1.1 Features
- Fixes support for bezel corrected resolutions

Version 1.1
- Adds support for bezel corrected resolutions
- Converted over to WykkydFramework. Changed scaling functionality to use Wykkyd's but hooked in Bezel correction and conversation fixes. (This should make the addon more stable)
- Minimized chat window fixed

If anyone does they'll need a complete re-write. Wykkyd's Framework is not going to continue with the features this addon was leveraging. I cannot support multi-monitors when the features break because I can't test them myself. I will gladly share source code with anyone who wishes to continue this.

Sorry everyone. Simply, I have no more time to play ESO and therefore no more time to really work on this and other addons. Other things in my life have taken priority in the past couple of weeks.

If anyone is interesting in maintaining this addon, please PM me.

I'll see what I can reproduce tonight. Sorry to everyone, I haven't made any time to be in-game in the past 2 weeks.

The dialog fix only fixes the UI aspect (it clamps the dialog text and the choices to the middle monitor). There is no way to fix the cut-off heads currently. That requires a higher FOV, which won't be possible until Zenimax adds an FOV slider to the game.

Sorry about that. There's not much I can do about that one. If you're running other addons, maybe one of them is colliding with mine and adding too many anchors or something? If that were happening though, it should be throwing lua errors instead. I can't really test monitors with that high refresh rate either since I dont have any, but I don't know of any reason that would matter.
I understand. But however ! i have found something that does seems to minimize the amounts of crashes - and that is to deactivate the Vertical Sync oddly enough. Ill try to investigate further.

Big thanks for the plugin though - cant play without it !!!

Re: Re: Not seeing Wykkyd under settings

Thanks for the quick response and I feel pretty dumb after seeing your pic. I was trying to find the option at the character login screen instead of ingame menu. Finally was able to get everything work.

Not sure if I am doing something wrong or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
If you are positive that Wykkyd Framework is set as an active addon and you are still not getting "Wykkyd Settings" in your ESO settings menu then I would suggest removing the addon from your addon folder and re installing the latest version of Wykkyd Framework.

When Wykkyd Framework is set as an active addon, you will get a "Wykkyd Settings" option in your ESO settings menu to configure all of the options that the mhframework addon provides. The screenshot below will show you exactly how it should look when active:

IF they placed them relative to the 'GuiRoot' element and recorded moved positions relative to 'GuiRoot', it should work fine.

My next addon will be an addon that allows things to be open independent of the 'main menu', which should alleviate the need for this addon when it's done. It's going to take a bit of time to code though (I'm starting this weekend, it may take a few weeks to get out in a beta state).
This is what I expected to be the problem. I've found ways around positioning things so that I only have to move 1 addon manually now, so as I said it's not a huge problem. I appreciate you looking into it though.

I'll keep an eye out for your future addons, but I'm pretty satisfied at the moment.
