if you create a "patch" please mark the pach as patch then too, and not as a standalone addon!
You can do so by going to the original addon and then click on the "optional patch" link (if it's enabled):

And why don't you contact the original addon author and let it include the /lang/br.lua file directly into the main addon (it even already contains a br.lua file, so you just need to update it if any translations are wrong?), insetad of creating new patch files
