Kyzderp's Derps

Kyzderp's Derps is, as the name suggests, a collection of miscellaneous features. I may add more random things in the future, but I'm uploading it now for guildies and friends because they refuse to install addons without Minion

Custom Target Name
This displays text that you can customize when your reticle is on a target. It was made for the intention of distinguishing between boss/minibosses more easily in vAS+2, so the default values contain those 3 bosses. You can add more customized names and colors for both NPCs and players (using their @ID).


Grievous Retaliation
This is what you take damage to in vCR if you try to resurrect someone whose shade hasn't been killed yet. The addon displays extremely noticeable text all over your screen if you are taking damage from Grievous Retaliation, giving you a quick alert to stop resurrecting. There is also an option to display the text even if it's someone else dying to Grievous Retaliation.
/kdd grievous toggles the overlay, if you want to see what it looks like, or just in case it gets stuck on screen (hasn't happened yet).


Boss Timer
This displays a panel of when overland bosses last died and shows an alert when the boss is about to respawn.
World and public dungeon bosses respawn approximately 5:06 after they die. Delve bosses have the same base cooldown, but they respawn earlier if a player who has not completed it enters the delve area.
The death detection only works if the boss has a boss HP bar at the top of the screen, which includes all world bosses but not delve or public dungeon bosses except Summerset and newer. There is also currently no smart detection of bosses, so a single boss event with multiple boss enemies will display as separate deaths.


Death Alert
This displays notifications when someone in your group dies.


Played Chart
Using /kdd played shows your time played on all characters and in total (must log on to each character with addon active first).


Unspent Skill Points Chart
Using /kdd points shows your unspent skill points on all characters (must log on to each character with addon active first).

The General Execution Achievement appears to be tied to all these bosses, and that link seems to show all the names of the Dark Anchor Bosses. As per the note at the bottom of the page, these can appear at any Dark Anchor.

For now, I'll just manually slap these in.
Oh yeah, that's an easy list, thanks! For some reason I thought there were more than that. I think I'll still try to do the whitelist instead though, because eventually I want it to work for the older public dungeons and also delves for which the bosses don't show up as "bosses" so I would have to do name matching anyway... I think. Unless there are no non-bosses in dungeons/delves that are not "HARD" or "DEADLY" difficulty maybe... hmm.

Hmm, I hadn't thought about dolmens. Currently I use a blacklist to exclude dungeon and trial bosses from the detection by checking the zone ID. But for overland stuff, I would have to either do a big whitelist of all world boss names, or add all dolmen and random spawn bosses to a blacklist.
