This addon provides a rule-based system to put items in your junk bag or destroy them

Unlike the other automatic junking addons, JunkBuster allows you to filter items by any combination of the following criteria:
  • Name
  • Item Type
  • (Specialized) Item Type
  • Equipment slot
  • Weapon/Armor type
  • Level
  • Price
  • Quality
  • Trait
  • Actor type (Player or Companion)
  • Item is crafted or not
  • Item is stolen or not
  • Item has a set bonus or not
  • Recipee is known or not

For example, you can set it to only junk the ingredients you loot that have 0g price value, or the normal quality (white) stolen treasures (but not the green ones).

Other Features:
  • The addon can automatically sell junked items to a merchant (not stolen items) or a fence (stolen items) when visiting them
  • You can add exemption rules that save and unjunk any special item that you want skipped by junkBuster
  • You can add rules to DESTROY items upon looting
    Warning: Be very careful with the destroy option. Destroyed items CAN NOT be returned.

The screenshots show some sample rules that I use when playing.
There is an extended logging option available which provides the info for every looted item in the chatbox so you can fine-tune or make new junking rules.

Planned future additions:
  • Allow <=, >=, == selections for item quality
  • Add support for FCO Item Saver
  • Allow addon to apply rules to (guild) bank too?

Yes! This is just what I've been wanting! I mean, I like injunkyard but I'm tired of manually having to set every piece of white item as junk. Now I wont have to! Freaking awesome!

I only have the English client.

If you do try it out on the other clients, please let me know if it works. Obviously all the text in the interface will be in English.

What about Style material

Alright, i tried out a little bit the addon now.
Some issues i got (maybe because i'm running french client) :

My rules :
[1] Any Trash
[2] Any Normal quality Armor with No Traits
[3] Any Normal quality Weapon with No Traits
[4] Any Trash quality item
[5] Any Normal quality Weapon with trait Weapon Ornate
[6] Any Normal quality Armor with trait Armor Ornate
So i looted a shield, the extended info about the item was :
Looted bouclier en chêne^m ($25 L26 Normal quality item)
And it didn't trash it.

I think it sometimes fails to get the item type. Got the same issue with a trash item and that's why i added the rule "Any trash quality item" because it was showing "Looted carapace^f ($5 L22 Trash quality item)"

As far as i know, every crafting item were detected as crafting items if it helps.
"Looted sel^m ($0 Normal quality Ingredient for Provisioning)"

The traits also works
"Looted casque de verde magique^m ($26 L30 Magic quality item with trait Armor Well Fitted)"
Again, i assumed there should have been somethig like Magic quality Armor item marked ?

I had a similar problem to KinderH. I was testing on fishing and sometimes you get a used bait back but I could not get it to trash it no matter what settings I used.

Doesn't seem to detect food nor drinks. With extended print on, it seems that in the place where Ingredients say ingredient, food items say none., uhm, example

Looted milled flour L3 Normal Ingredient [Provisioning / None] $1
Looted cold mutton ribs L17 Normal None [Invalid / None] $1

So obviously loot filter for "Normal Food" doesn't work since it doesn't see anything as food.

Also, if I don't have the extended print setting on it doesn't print anything to chat, even if the both settings, to print for everything or only for junk, are on.

-no jewelry entry in item type
-no way to differentiate between light/medium/heavy armors
-no way to differentiate between two hand/one hand/bow/destruction/restoration weapons
-request add rule options to junk, destroy, or KEEP items /whitelist
-is it reporting item levels correctly? ex: lvl 45 purple outputs lvl 55 in chat window
-most rules I create don't seem to work at all

So regarding the food/drinks, different armor types and the wrong levels reported:
I don't actually control any of that info, it's all what the game client tells me. I have noticed that there are really weird settings about item types and levels in the game, but that's all up to ZOS

I understand that. My point was more about, if the game consistently fails to report certain type for items of that type, maybe the addon shouldn't lists that as an option to filter with. I reported the behaviour just to bring it to your attention, not because I thought you'd immediately be able to magically fix it.

Man if you could hook into the traits we already researched similar to Research Assistant or AI Research Grid and then gave us the option to Junk white/magic items for which we already know the trait I would love you so hard!
