Advanced AutoLoot Renewed  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.9.8
by: SilverWF, Mandrakia, TheChessurCat
Originally developed by Mandrakia here and continued by TheChessurCat here
Big thanks to them for all their hard work! I'm really love this addon and can't play without it! So I decided to renew it and share.

This addon allows you to automatically filter your loot, based on your settings and keep only 'good' (for you) items and autojunk 'bad' ones.
There's also a new set of buttons in the mail panel, that will send the content of your inventory to the designated crafters you configured in the settings (except the ornate items, those are for you obviously) or to your friend for mail bouncing. You can't send mails to yourself tho - this is ingame restriction.

Features:
  • Filtering your loot, based on many filters (quality, type, level etc). Note: all filtration happens after looting, not before!
  • Autojunk of unwilling items
  • Integration of Item Saver, FCO Item Saver, Begging the Gear and CraftStore addons filters
  • Keybinds for Autoloot and Autolot stolen
  • Autosell all junk
  • Chat notification on junking, deleting and sending
  • Mail sending to designated crafters with 1 click
  • In-built mail bouncer
  • Suppress delete and return confirmation dialogues

Requirements
This addon requires following libs installed:
LibAddonMenu
LibStub
Download and unzip them just like any another addon to the C:\Users\Name\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\ folder or use Minion for installing that addons.

Slash commands
/aaloot - Change state of the ingame 'Auto-loot' option
/aasteal - Change state of the ingame 'Auto-loot stolen' option
/aalset - Open addon settings

How to use:
To configure addon go to addons settings: Press ESC - Settings - Addons - Advanced Autoloot Renewed
To configure keybinds go to controls settings: Press ESC - Controls - Addon Keybinds - Advanced AutoLoot
To enable/disable game autoloot go to ingame settings: Press ESC - Settings - Gameplay - Auto Loot or Auto Loot Stolen Items
To send mails you need to open your mailbox and use specific buttons at the top right corner of the mailbox.

Hints:
If you have some items in the bags and want to keep it, preventing from sending - just lock it (Right click on the item - Lock) or make them bound to you (just wear or convert to Imperial style, if you can).

If you have troubles
1. Try to completely remove whole folder C:\Users\your_name\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\AdvancedAutoLoot\ and install addon again - manually! Use 7zip to unzip the file archive
2. Addon does not compatible with most of addons, that have a deal with your loot too, i.e. Dustman, CraftAutoloot etc. It may work, but this is not guaranteed.

For developers
Addon var name is AdvancedAutoLoot
This addon would listen for events EVENT_MAIL_OPEN_MAILBOX, EVENT_MAIL_INBOX_UPDATE, EVENT_MAIL_CLOSE_MAILBOX, EVENT_MAIL_SEND_FAILED, EVENT_OPEN_STORE, EVENT_INVENTORY_SINGLE_SLOT_UPDATE
It changes this official ESO settings in the SETTING_TYPE_LOOT: LOOT_SETTING_AUTO_LOOT and LOOT_SETTING_AUTO_LOOT_STOLEN
It has custom modified official ESO API functions: MAIL_INBOX: Delete() and MAIL_INBOX:Return()
It creates buttons, anchored to group ZO_MainMenuSceneGroupBarButton2
Slash commands, that was used: /aaloot, /aasteal, /aalset

Exclamation Out of date

Hi to all
Sorry for delay
I'm not playing ESO anymore (loooooong ago), so this addon wasn't received any updates for a long time
Neither I has a will to start playing or managing this addon
So, if someone has a wish for that - feel free to pick it up
Thanks and good luck!

Is anyone having issues with the autodelete stolen items below a certain quality function? when I go to delete an item that's white it locks up the game.. I'm able to reproduce it basically on demand. just wondering if it's something to do with my set up up or if anyone is seeing. started happening last week
Thanks

Exclamation Errors on line 688, solution

Howdy,

You know, I wish we had all these add-ons in GitHub. It'd be so much easier to contribute.

Anyway. I've been getting the following error sporadically:

Code:
user:/AddOns/AdvancedAutoLoot/AdvancedAutoLoot.lua:688: attempt to index a nil value
stack traceback:
user:/AddOns/AdvancedAutoLoot/AdvancedAutoLoot.lua:688: in function 'AdvancedAutoLoot:IsItemResearchable'
|caaaaaa<Locals> self = [table:1]{}, itemLink = "|H0:item:45167:307:50:0:0:0:0:...", announceJunk = T, bagId = 1, slotId = 32, craft = 1, line = 10, trait = 5, CharacterName = "Dhaku San-Zainuddeen", itemID = 4871512869612563220, _ = 1, char = "Dhaku San-Zainuddeen", owner = "Dhaku San-Zainuddeen", haveid = 4871512869612563220 </Locals>|r
user:/AddOns/AdvancedAutoLoot/AdvancedAutoLoot.lua:755: in function 'AdvancedAutoLoot:OnInventoryUpdated'
|caaaaaa<Locals> self = [table:1], bagId = 1, slotId = 32, isNewItem = T, itemSoundCategory = 10, inventoryUpdateReason = 0, stackCountChange = 1, isStolen = F, _ = "/esoui/art/icons/gear_redguard...", _ = 1, _ = 27, _ = T, _ = F, equipType = 13, itemStyle = 2, quality = 1, itemType = 2, itemTypeS = 300, itemStack = 1, itemTrait = 15 </Locals>|r
user:/AddOns/AdvancedAutoLoot/AdvancedAutoLoot.lua:197: in function '(anonymous)'
|caaaaaa<Locals> _ = 131222 </Locals>|r
I eventually got annoyed enough to go look at the source, and I found the problem, replace line 688 with the following in order to ensure this check works:

Lua Code:
  1. if CS.Account.crafting.studies[char] and CS.Account.crafting.studies[char][craft] and CS.Account.crafting.studies[char][craft][line] and not CS.Account.crafting.research[char][craft][line][trait] then

Basically, all that was required was checking to ensure all the objects exist before trying to use them.

Hopefully, this can make it into an update, and hopefully, it helps someone!

Unable to mail items to 2nd account

For months now, I haven't been able to use AAL to send mail items to my 2nd account (for bounceback).

Every time I try, I get the following error for each attempted "send":
Code:
AAL: Mail couldn't be sent. Reason: 131439
At first I thought it was because my 2nd account's mail was full, but this was not the case, as I can MANUALLY send mails to my 2nd account without issue.

The "error" persists until I either /reloadui or let the confirmation pop-up sit on screen for a few minutes.

Any constructive thoughts or suggestions are appreciated!

well maybe theese Items are kind of quest Items, that could be a reason...

but i have another question/idea by my own, may it be possible to also add "Send intricate Items" to the optional Settings of the Mail thing? cause with ESO+ i don't need to send Rawmaterials and stuff but theese Intricates filling my Inventory and Bank while farming/questing/etc, so i want to send thees stuff primary around till i deconstruct them...
would be very nice, if you don't have time for this, i would make an plugin for this, but i don't know how to mod in ESO xDD

Hi there

Do NOT use my account for bouncing your mails - because I'll be online pretty rare.

I did this because Treasures, Trash and Trophies are ment to be sold only
And it useful (for me) with stolen items too: all treasures got junked, so at the Fence I'm opening the Junk tab and mindlessly pressing E to fence them all with no fear to fence some needed item.
Because other items (recipes, gear etc) remains unjunked and I can look on them more closely and decide: what to fence and what to launder.

Not, then this item would be passed to lower filters, because it has lower quality and can not be saved by quality
Does this work with stolen items, like things you get off nobles and guards?
I'm finding that no matter what I set the equal or above quality setting to, all my higher quality stolen items are going into junk. They don't seem to have a section for post processing after the initial quality check, so I'm wondering if that has something to do with it. They're not gear or jewelry, etc.
Bob
Well, in the addon logic, any ITEMTYPE_TREASURE (also as TRASH or TROPHY) are going to junk unmatter what.
And if you allowed stolen sorting, then this hidden rule would affect it too.
But only if it's a type that has a setting in that section below, correct? So if I steal a blue piece of armour, it will stay in the bag, but if I steal a blue dwarven dog dish, it'll get junked. Sorry.. Just trying to make sure I understand. I love the add-on btw. I have it on all my characters. It's just the thief character where this is a bit inconvenient.
Is there anyway that quality check could apply to treasure types as well? or can the add-on not tell it's quality if it's one of the treasure type? want to ditch all the white quality 'treasure' and only keep the green above to sell. I suppose I could use the destroy if below min value but I'm nervous about losing thinks.
I appreciate your time
Thanks
Bob
Nah, you can't change it from the addon settings. Most stolen items are Treasures, so they would get junked.
You can freely set deletion of white and green stolen Treasures as I did. You will loose nothing, since it's work for stolen Treasures, Trash and Trophies only.

Or, if you still want to use quality filter for treasures
Open a file ...\AddOns\AdvancedAutoLoot\AdvancedAutoLoot.lua
find a lines 735 and 736 and swap them in places, so this 2 lines would look like that:
Code:
if quality >= self.db.minQuality then return end -- It will keep any items above set quality unmatter what
if itemTypeS == SPECIALIZED_ITEMTYPE_COLLECTIBLE_MONSTER_TROPHY or itemType == ITEMTYPE_TRASH or itemType == ITEMTYPE_TREASURE then self:Junker(bagId,slotId,itemLink,itemStack) return end
after this the quality filter would work for (any) treasures
I went with the first option. I can't get the advanced filters to work. It and some other add-ons are red, even though I appear to have the right supporting libraries installed. But that's not a problem for you to fix.
Thank you for your help, it's now working the way I would like, more or less.. it's too bad the Treasures are automatically trashed, but it's good enough for now
Thanks again for your help
Bob

I appreciate your time
Thanks
Bob

Not, then this item would be passed to lower filters, because it has lower quality and can not be saved by quality
Does this work with stolen items, like things you get off nobles and guards?
I'm finding that no matter what I set the equal or above quality setting to, all my higher quality stolen items are going into junk. They don't seem to have a section for post processing after the initial quality check, so I'm wondering if that has something to do with it. They're not gear or jewelry, etc.

Well, in the addon logic, any ITEMTYPE_TREASURE (also as TRASH or TROPHY) are going to junk unmatter what.
And if you allowed stolen sorting, then this hidden rule would affect it too.

Question Re: Filled Soul Gems are being Junked

Well, why use AAL and Dustman at the same time?

What to do?

This was caused by the addon DUSTMAN. Great addon for junking types of items. I had to unJunk the soulgems. Moving on....
