InventoryUpkeep  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.7.0.0
by: manyrabidrats [More]
This addon does not affect items destined for Crafting Bags if they are available.

InventoryUpkeep automatically destroy's items upon looting filtered on certain professions, rarity, and type. This is to assist in preventing inventory from filling up with items you do not wish to keep anyway. (trash items or items of a profession you do not partake in.

Default settings disable all filters and no items are ever destroyed.

FEATURE ADD : Auto-Mail button and fields added to settings page. When triggered, sends up to 6 items to specified player. hit again to send next 6 until no more are available Pairs well with Wykkyd Mailbox or similar add-on for auto-return feature.

OUTSTANDING ISSUES:
after running auto-mail and returning to playing, if [ESC] was not used to exit the settings menu, [ESC] will need to be pressed 1x to interact with the environment/attack.

I've just encountered a couple of issues so far which is that the filters apply when you unequip or craft something, which isn't ideal. If possible could you do it such that when taking these actions it doesn't apply the same filters as for looting?

Thanks!

Edit: just so you know it also happens when buying from a merchant! I think it's likely that it happens when getting items out of the bank also.

Perhaps you need to somehow link it to the autoloot setting?
this has been done in update 1.6.5.4

you are correct, the current version looks for any alteration with the player inventory. has no effect on bank.
I am looking to make it only for specific instances of modifications (such as looting). this will be in a future update.

Until recently, i've kept this to myself just because i was tired of managing inventory on all my toons as often as playing the game. when getting stuff from bank, i just hit the reset to defaults button first. but yes, this is a request I am looking into.
