Description
Have you ever been in a situation where you need more skill points but you have no idea where to get them? Well today is your lucky day! Urich's Skill Point Finder provides a graphical interface showing all of the skill points you have (and haven't) earned throughout the entire game. You can show or hide the window by binding a hotkey or by entering the slash command. Slash command information is below.

Please Note
From Version 5.1.0 you need to separately install: LibTableFunctions-1.0 and LibAddonMenu-2.0

Localization
Localization for German, French, and Japanese is included in version 4.0.0. I speak only English so I am very sorry if a translation is incorrect. My only available source was Google Translate. Please message me if you see a translation that can be improved or shortened where space is an issue. Also feel free to provide a complete translation for another language if you would like to see it added to a future update.

Slash Commands
  • /uspf - Show or hide the USPF window.
  • /uspf help - Display help information in the chat window.

Known Issues/Complications
  1. There was reportedly some issue in the past with public dungeon group boss events not properly awarding skill points upon completion. This may result in the USPF UI showing more skill points than you actually have. If this is the case for you, it means that you were shorted a skill point by the game.
  2. The Folium Discognitum is a scroll that awards two skill points on use. Because the Folium is a scroll and not a book, it is not possible to determine if if you have earned those points besides comparing the number of earned skill points with the number of expected skill points + 2. There is an override in the settings menu if this information is not correct for your character.
  3. There are skill points awarded upon completion of "Broken Bonds" and "The Mind Trap" for Morrowind and Summerset characters respectively. There are override options in the settings menu for these skill points if this information is not correct for your character.

1. solve the non display of the extra skill point on chars created from chapter Morrowind and later.
2. confirm text additions needed for Greymoor and update where needed localisation files

More explanation

Can you explain in your description how the skills are obtained? By book case, completion of a dungeon or story, specific dolmen zone, etc. ?

A new feature good be to color the lines in a different color depending how they are obtained. If you how to obtain it, then you can search faster.

I cannot fathom why these changes were made.

UPDATE: I have verified that changing back to GetSV(sVarPtsData.something) in these lines fixes the problem - at least for me…
I took the time to edit the lua file as described above and can confirm this fixes the issues as well, I have 9 characters, everything works like it used to with all characters.

I've gone back to using 5.2.0 for the time being. Would love to get this resolved as well, but am sure fritz and onigar will get to it when they can. And speaking of the authors, thank you again for creating such a needed and useful addon!!

Ello Ulrich and thanks for a very nice and useful addon.

After Greymoor came out, when I want to see what my other chars have done or not done in Public Dungeons and Zone's, it doesnt show, just what the current char have done and not done. The Dungeons on the right side does update though...

My friend and I also have this bug. Only the 'group dungeon' column updates when you select a different character. All the other sections stay the same.
Same for me. Group dungeon column updates and shows correct per char selected, but pub dungeon pane shows what my main has (however, the total points for that sub-section does correctly display - as in, the # of points earned from that section for each of my selected chars seem correct, it just doesn't update the actual pane list)
