Iakoni's Gear Changer  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.6
by: Mookanana [More]
Iakoni's Gear Changer: This addon will allow you to SAVE and EQUIP gear sets.
Look and feel integrates well with ESO default.

Features:
- SAVE and EQUIP up to 10 gear sets
- Customise gearset name and icons
- Checkbox that allows you to toggle between ignoring empty gearslots, or marking them as empty for unequipping. (default is ignore)
- Look and feel meant to integrate with the default ESO UI.
- Keybindings added to controls under section "Iakoni's Gear Changer" for quick equipping.
- Added a keybind section for one button changing of gear and skills, if you have Skill Changer installed.
- Player bags, bank and stores will have a marker arrow indicating if the item is part of a saved set.

Drop me some feedback if you like! Contact me if I am online if you want to chat.
I drew inspiration heavily from Wykkyd's Outfitter mod, which doesn't work for me anymore.
Got tired of looking around for a mod I liked and decided to make one for myself.

If you like it, take a look at its sister addon, "Iakoni's Skill Changer" which does the same thing but for skills.

Brief Instructions:
1. Equip gear on your paperdoll.
2. Select a set by clicking on the set icon.
3. Click [Save].
4. Switch between sets by clicking [Equip].

Hope you enjoy it!

well, convenience. right now one has to set gear and skills seperately.

it's not that i'm trying to urge you to do it. after all it's your work. but i like to think an addon which would combine both functionalities would also draw a bigger crowd, if you get my drift.

Well i guess we have all our preferences i really like having two light modules separate. Sometimes i want to keep a skills build but change only the gear or only the weapons .

well... that's kinda what I am trying to ask, even though I combine both into one mod, you would still have to save the gear set, save the skills, and if you want to activate both gear/skill with a single keybind, you can do so. The functionality is available now, and would be the same if I combined the mods, so I am unsure what additional feature you are referring to?

Unless you mean to save both gear and skills at the same time with only one slot, then no, it is my intention to keep the addons separate, because I know people might have other addons they like to use for gear OR skills. As it is, the addons are already linked together with the keybind.

Thanks for suggesting tho!

yes, that was my original intention when deciding to keep the addons separate. I try to decouple stuff as much as possible so people have flexibility. The fun about eso is all about customisation =P well any game really.

just as to clarify what i meant - as i said, right now one has to save gear and skills seperately. so if i have a lot of gear sets that i want to link to specific skill sets or vice versa i'd have to make sure that the gear set and the skill set i want to be activated with the same hotkey are in the same slot in both windows. worst case one would be checking back and forth all the time to make sure gear and skills match.
so why not combine them into one window just like DressingRoom does?

Version

Hey, just a very minor suggestion. I notice that the file version in ESOUI is not the same as what is shown in the read me file. Can you please update your read me file so it shows the current version, makes it easier to track what is up to date. Thanks.

Actually Dressing room was not giving the choice to use only the gear. If you had the bar empty, then it was loading your bar with empty slots.

With this new addon, i have 2 slots just for my rp outfit, no weapons, and that does not modify my skillbars

Dressing room did give the option to use only gear, as well as load skill bars separately. Instead of pressing shift + click on the save button, just left click the button and it will load just the gear (or just the skills) Also, I believe you can set it in the settings to ignore empty spots. For example, I have one 'gear set' with only cyrodil's ward jewelry, and rapid manoeuvre, and everything else blank. It keeps those skills there.

I may have missed that part BUT since in change for this new addon, i never ever have a problem with my skills bar suddenly missing skills, or resetting, or not registering my change.

If i were alone to have that problem i would say ok it was my fault, but husband and 2 friends had the same problem.

SInce we changed for this addon, never ever had a hiatus in the loading and switching bar.

LOVE this addon

I really love this addon, and I like that the skill and armor addons are separate.
This addon for me, is much easier to configure and much less confusing than the other gear/skill switching addons out there, the ability to independently switch skills and gear is PERFECT.

little question : should the addon remember when i put a tabard or not ?

i create a set with a tabard and another one without, but the addon seems to not remember to remove the tabard

May be because tabard are considered as Cosmetics ?

No worry i will just remove it manually but wondering

Quick Request

Hiya

Love the AddOn.

Just one quick request - is it possible to remember what poisons were equipped with each set?

Possible bug

Possible bug: I disabled (ingame) all my addons for Cyrodiil. When I renabled them today, all my presets were gone in both GearChanger and SkillChanger.

Love both these addons
