Re: Re: Challenge of the new DLC
1) We implemented a toggle button (on BeamMeUp window and also on the Zone Guide window). By the setting "Open / Close Teleporter with map" you can control which one of the two windows you will see on map opening. Anyway you can move the BeamMeUp window wherever you want. 2) We have still not decided, so thanks for your input. We released a new Beta right now, which introduce the new toggle button. Also it won't crash any longer on PTS. Furthermore I improved the drag & drop feeling of the window, so now it is easier to catch the BeamMeUp window to move it. ... Looking forward to your feedback ![]() Regarding the development of the Beta, we should switch to the Beta channel forum in order to avoid bothering other users here ![]()

Re: Re: Re: Re: Challenge of the new DLC
Lets hope ZOS does bring back that function so we dont have to worry about and get a workaround for that.

Re: Re: Challenge of the new DLC
Right now we have one big problem: ZOS kicked out a function they introduced first in the last DLC and we are using. Because of this BeamMeUp is not working on PTS right now - only if there is not a single user in your list you can port to. @DeadSoon is on a good way to release the first version to swap between BeamMeUp and the new Zone-Quest window. But as long as ZOS does not bring back that "parent zone id"-function we can not use BeamMeUp as we want to and maybe have to dismiss that wanted function.

Re: Challenge of the new DLC
1) a) Can the toggle be set and stay? i.e. toggle it to BeamMeUp and it stay that way even after log outs? 1) b) For me it would be ok to have BeamMeUp come up on the right side of the map. I have a 34" ultra wide so it might not work for most people but I'm not sure. 1) c) perhaps an ability to make BeamMeUp more compact? 2) Player/zone search option should be an option (I would not prefer it). I don't ever want to look for people to travel to. They are in my group and I travel to them that way or I am going to a particular zone. Perhaps an option in the settings "Search by player and zone", "Search by zone only", "Search by player only", "Search by zone/delve/quest only", "Hide search box". |

Challenge of the new DLC
Hey Guys,
because we want to change 2 bigger thinks it would be great to get feedback/ideas/opinions to the following 2 questions: 1: The next DLC (coming in couple of weeks) will introduce a new feature of the base game (so it will effect everyone). This feature (quest and achievement leader) comes with a tiny window on the left side when you open the map (currently where BeamMeUp is). It is already available on PTS, so you can test it on your own. We must act because of this conflict with this base game window. One possible solution is to place a toggle button to switch between BeamMeUp and this new window. Do you have any other ideas/suggestions, how to react on this change? 2: Because we need space for a new button/tab (matching zones with active quests), we want to merge the player search field with the zone search field. Then, you can search by player name and by zone name in the same field. Normally it should not really effect your search efficiency (we see no cons). Do you have any counterarguments for this merging? Thank you for your feedback!

thanks for your suggestions! 1: Gamer1986PAN already mentioned our feature to set favorites. I think this covers a lot of use cases. Nevertheless to display zones, even when there is no player, is an interesting idea (main list, quest list, item list). It would help to integrate the Addon more to the main map/travel navigation. We will keep it in mind. ![]() 2: I see no way to avoid storing shrines data. Furthermore it comes with a huge effort for implementation and maintaining the data. 3: This is already planned! I think we will keep the main list untouched and will introduce a new tab for matching of zones and quests (like the Treasure & Survey Map feature with number and names of quests) |

Did not notice the "map" in your option 2. About 2 weeks ago i asked @DeadSoon to implement zones without players in the "item related zones" tab. So we wanted to do this anyway. But you brought me to the idea we should add that option to favorite zones and the upcoming quest feature as well. (in main list)

As for option 2 and reachable zones -- obviously, it only matters for zones with wayshrines to port to ![]() ![]() |

Thank you for your suggestions i try to answer as good as i can, if @DeadSoon has some more infos about it he will post that addition. 1. As far as i know its not possible for us to save specific wayshrines as bookmarks, but you can set a zone as favorite (by right click on the zone on your list and add to favorite). Making favorite zones an 100% entry in the list even if there is nobody to port to is really an interessting idea. By clicking on the zone name you are able to choose your wanted wayshrine on the map. 2. Thats also a nice idea. But that option would be only for overland zones useful then. Showing all reachable Zones would show about 600-800 entries (ascending trend) and that is not what we are aiming for. Also there is no wayshrine you can directly jump into dungeons etc. without a player that you can travel to. So these entries does not help, if you see those entries without any player there you can travel to. 3. We are planing with our next bigger update to bring an option that always shows the current focused Quest as the first entry in your result-list (even before Grouplead and Favorites). We plan to bring that as optional so you can show it or hide in in the options. If you prefer a full list with your active Quests we may add that in the Future but until we do - you may want to use Faster Travel until we are able to implement it.

A few suggestions -- as in, what could be really useful.
1. "Bookmarking" specific wayshrines so they can be ported to w/o having to go through the long maps/lists. Obviously, if you aren't at a wayshrine, it'd incur a cost, but maybe add a confirmation or a tab to the map toolbox? 2. If it's possible to recognize when you're at a wayshrine, have at least the maps functionality altered to show all zones as active and port to a shrine (if known) in that zone, not to a player in that zone. (Maybe to a shrine closest to one of the maps, or even having drop-down with maps and porting to the shrine closest to a specific map (would need to store shrines' locations obv). 3. Similarly to maps, tag zones with active quests. |

Update: I can confirm that Murkmire Treasure Map I and Murkmire Treasure Map II are not displayed in the "Treasure & Survey Maps" list. It is a bug of the game (wrong item type) and I already reported it. Nevertheless I activated an additional technique to recognize treasure and survey maps (recognition by name). This solves the issue. The fix is released with version 1.3.4 (final and also beta channel). Please give me confirmation/feedback if the bug has been fixed or if new bugs have occurred!!

Murkmire Treasure Map I does not show up in the list when you look at Map Related Zones.
