The purpose of this addon is to move certain UI objects from where they would normally be covered by others.

Example:
  1. normally:
    • When the Inventory is opened, the Keyboard chat window will block the inventory list and the Keybind Strip may block part of the chat window (if low enough).
  2. with this addon:
    • When the inventory is opened, will move the chat window to the right of the "Left Tooltip" and above the Keybind Strip
    • When the Inventory is closed, the chat window will return to it's last set position.

Options:
  1. use the Keyboard Loot History so it is set to the bottom right of the screen to not be covered by the Keyboard Chat window.
  2. set the text size of the numbers displayed over the icons in Loot History.
  3. set the text size of the entry in Loot History.
  4. enable dynamic chat window positioning.
  5. use the Keyboard HUD meters (Tel Var, Infamy, Daedric energy).


This video is based on the early version of this addon.

I looked into this one. That addon is only texture related. The ShaderCache is just where the game store formatted textures, based on sceren and visual quality levels. It's also why game updates take so long to load the first time. If an addon changes a texture already in the cache, it has to be deleted or the change will not be seen in game.

Perhaps, if you have an addon that changes how companion entries look in loot history. Companion xp and rapport gains/loss. Something visibly unnoticeable.
It could require it to completely replace the loot history layout. In this addon, it creates a custom layout based on the current keyboard layout. Adds that to the keyboard loot history as a separate layout and sets it as active.
I'm not seeing anything in Azurah

This is only created on the first time it's enabled after game load\reloadui.

It automatically changes on switching.
Even in auto, when it changes from gamepad mode to keyboard mode, it cycles through the 3 options, if enabled in the settings and, is in gamepad mode, the option is enabled. And the opposite is done in keyboard mode.
Which means, if the game is put into keyboard mode, all enabled options are disabled and, when it changes back to gamepad mode, all previously enabled options are re-enabled.

Options being: "move Loot History", "dynamic Chat Position", "move Hud Meters"

According to your statement about lua code and addon logic, I think youíre right that there are some addon overwrite your loot history template so thatís why function fail.

So there are some suspect addon type down there I see.

For now, I'll go ahead and look into this. It sounds like a likely culprit. I'll also download FGO Gamepad Button textures and look it over.

Language should not be a issue. With that said, If you can provide a Chinese translation to for the lines in en.lua, (everything in there between "quotes") I can add that to the addon.

I have not noticed any issue with BUI but, if you can narrow down addon conflicts, I can better look into it.

I may have found an issue while running Ody Support Icons but, I have not thoroughly investigated it. I just disabled it and it stopped. I never used it anyways.

i think you're the only addon author that use gamepad and still active on this game, so i wish i could get some help from you..

I am a gamepad user. From first install to now.
Font size is a difficult one. What I do, I have a keybind to toggle gamepad mode on/off "]"
I rarely use keyboard mode and hate the switching on auto. So I have it set to Gamepad mode On.
My kebinds are all wrecked. Since I don't need adsw for running around and "1234567890-=" are not for skills or anything like that. Set for dressing room 1-12

Besides that. I scale the UIs differently. Gamepad mode a bit smaller. for the extra visibility. I'm on a 15 '' laptop. This means I can't normally make out over-head name labels.

Recommendations?
I truly have no idea. I try to keep it simple. Visually, I set the custom Ui scale for both modes. Due to differences in the fonts, they need set different. Gamepad mode has a cleaner font, so I can have that set a bit smaller than keyboard mode. That's what helps me the most.
I don't do UI addons. I have bandits Ui but, I only use a personal modification of it for vertical player buffs with names and timer bars, and a zoomable reticle. I tried but, they did not want to include the features I handed to them.
c u j k l ' m and maybe others are for ui scenes. And I can't be having it swap modes when I open them. If I happen to grab the mouse, it can be used on the gamepad lists too.
My addons are mainly for QOL. My first addon, never planed on uploading any, was just a panel that showed me what I needed to craft in crafting stations. Basically what the Crafting Advisor does now.
Thank you so much! Iím same as you when i first install the game! Im gonna try scale the UI to see if can get some help. Also looks like ESO only display Xbox controller only so i download another addon which called FGO gamepad Button to change button display to Playstation icon! Becasue i mostly play on PS4 and PS5 before.

Anyway, thank you for sharing the experrence! You know itís hard to find gamepad addon because most of the player in PC using keyboard in stead of gamepad.

What menus?
It most frequently happens with the main menu since I frequently open it after closing another menu, but I think it can happen with any menu if you close it and open another too fast.

I haven't actually played in over a month now. Update 39 really broke the game for me.
I've looking into this addon and noticed that something is really wrong. I'm going to see what I can do about it. It may require a complete rewrite.

i Try to use a addon call "AdvancedNameplates" it can change the font size or font style for both keyboard&Gamepad but i found that if i set Gamepad Mode to Automatic, font size and style will reset to default after i reloadui or teleport to other area, It's so annoying that i have go to addon setting re-adjust the font size or style every time!

i think you're the only addon author that use gamepad and still active on this game, so i wish i could get some help from you..

I am a gamepad user. From first install to now.
Font size is a difficult one. What I do, I have a keybind to toggle gamepad mode on/off "]"
I rarely use keyboard mode and hate the switching on auto. So I have it set to Gamepad mode On.
My kebinds are all wrecked. Since I don't need adsw for running around and "1234567890-=" are not for skills or anything like that. Set for dressing room 1-12

Besides that. I scale the UIs differently. Gamepad mode a bit smaller. for the extra visibility. I'm on a 15 '' laptop. This means I can't normally make out over-head name labels.

Recommendations?
I truly have no idea. I try to keep it simple. Visually, I set the custom Ui scale for both modes. Due to differences in the fonts, they need set different. Gamepad mode has a cleaner font, so I can have that set a bit smaller than keyboard mode. That's what helps me the most.
I don't do UI addons. I have bandits Ui but, I only use a personal modification of it for vertical player buffs with names and timer bars, and a zoomable reticle. I tried but, they did not want to include the features I handed to them.
c u j k l ' m and maybe others are for ui scenes. And I can't be having it swap modes when I open them. If I happen to grab the mouse, it can be used on the gamepad lists too.
My addons are mainly for QOL. My first addon, never planed on uploading any, was just a panel that showed me what I needed to craft in crafting stations. Basically what the Crafting Advisor does now.

firstly,i Really enjoy your addon because both keyboard&Gamepad can use it. So i guess you are a gamepad player too!

Rightnow i have some problem about Gamepad UI and i spend hours of time search on the internet and doesn't reslove it until now. That is the Font Size while using Gamepad mode.

Basically, in Game Setting Menu i set Gamepad Mode to Automatic so i get gamepad UI when i combat and while i need to clear my inventory or chat with somebody i can switch my keyboard.

If you are talking about the gamepad chat window, no. That is docked on the right side.
This addon is to help make the Keyboard's chat window work better in gamepad mode. As stated in the addon's description page.

If you are using my "Chat Right" addon, dump it. It was made to dock the keyboard's chat window on the right side.
