I don't think the intricate trait does what you think it does. It's not a bonus you get for wearing the intricate item, it's a bonus you get for deconstructing that item.

If I am correct in guessing what causes this problem, then you DO have the explorer trait unlocked for some armor type in either Clothier or Blacksmith.
If I am right, then I am fairly confident that my newest version (v0.2.0) solves that issue. Please let me know!

I uploaded a new version. This should hopefully fix everyones' issues with those error messages.
The error on load seems to be a conflict with Pawkette's Scrolling Battle Text. Disabling PSBT from the addons menu didn't get rid of the error, but removing it from the addons folder did.

The only thing I'd like better would be a tooltip on the icon that brought up what was currently slotted for your character for that type as well.
I.e. you're looking at robes, you mouseover the icon and it shows your current Chest Piece as a tooltip/popup/whatever so you can compare it to what you're currently wearing in case it'...
