Marking of Items Changed

A couple weeks ago, labeling items changed to where I can no longer label items with dynamic icons that aren't armor or weapons. Was this intentional? I prefer to have it the other way where I can label whatever with whichever icon. I labeled maps, for example, and I can no longer do that. However, the ones that were already labeled...
