Settings Menu Auto Pop

Hey,
Is there a way to code this add-on so that way the SETTINGS window does not respawn EVERY time I open a different page (inventory, character sheet, etc.)? I realize the toggle on/off works but it's totally annoying to keep having to toggle the settings window off everytime I open map, inventory, etc.
