It may be for you but Eidetic memory is not showing for me (and yes I checked it was selected on my map), I have done the same edits listed by others, disabled all other addons and restarted the client/ ui to oblivion and beyond. Band aid works for Mages Guild book...

Band aid works for Mages Guild books but not Eidrtic memory entries for me on all characters including those that have unlocked it properly, I have tried the various changes suggested, disabled all other addons to see if its a conflict but to no avail so I rate this fix partial.
