Similar situation. Doesn't have to be the wayshrine, just opening the map anywhere in the Tideholm zone does this. But not always... I had it happen to two characters and not happen to two others... I haven't seen this recently; it seems updates to libGPS (or other libs) fixed it, perhaps?
