Map problems still persist

So I've removed all savedVariables and addons and installed just minimap but the problem still persists I think its an issue with my instance of the game itself because when I walked around and opened up the map, it didn't let me zoom in and out. Is there a way for me to refresh or restart variables for the map itself? Or are those...

I love this addon and all its features and how it looks and I use it everyday, but when I tried loading up the game this morning the minimap did not work at all.
