 Map goes blank sometimes

Sometimes when I'm playing the map goes blank except for my icon and harvest pins. If I hit M to bring up the main map, when I close the main map, the mini map looks normal, until I move, then it goes blank again... I had ESO installed a few years ago and had uninstalled it, but it left the addons folder. I reinstalled ESO last week...
