If the icons don't show but you have map filters then post the filters. About the only way this will happen is when it is manually installed incorrectly or on Unix. I am not certain what im doing wrong, i can not get the pins to show despite the filters. i had eso shut down when i updated everything to the new versions. (does the launcher need to be shut down too?)
