That would mean saving start and stop times to saved vars and summing it. Then doing date checks to see when to reset it. Little more effort than I currently have time for.

Not easily because it is using the mouse as a selector and a key. Something like opening an addon: sure, map it to anything. It doesn't need a target. But if you map your Q key to favoriting recipes, then that prevents the Q key from working anytime even outside of that menu. It would also mean still acquiring that the mouse is over...
