In version 1.7.2, the checklist would be hidden once I finished my daily writs. Now I cannot get rid of it unless I go into the settings and turn it off every day. Then I have to turn it back on the next morning. Doing this for 12 characters is a lot of wasted time. I...

I do like the checklist but I save writs from the previous day and do a double day worth of writs as it saves time.
After the first batch of writs the Checklist closes and I can't seem to find how to trigger it to reappear.
I guess it is date related rather than whether there is active quests in the quest log...

It used to save the fact that it was minimized regardless of completion but now it reopens whenever a menu is activated even if it was previously minimized (when not yet completed) Not a big pet peve but when I jump into pledges before I have yet to do dailies it can kind of get in the way.

That's weird, because the Center Screen message only happens for the current char and only for research done in current char, not for others. Message for other chars are only send to chat.
