With the increased cap of 500 Transmutation Crystals + the ability to reconstruct set pieces for crystals it's currently the best course of action to farm Transmutation Geodes by daily random dungeon or other activities to be able to equip alts + transmute traits.

I know that I can use the log + filter for uncollected items, but I'd rather have that output in the chat window itself to be able to quickly tell my group members if I see something I need before they leave.
