This was the first time getting this, but you can also see that some of the buttons don't show properly under the map in the bottom right
These are occuring in stock ESO scipts and most likely have nothing to do with MiniMap.

Addon always layered on top and covers default ESO loot window. Must be fixed. Want to see lott window above minimap, not under.
I'm not sure what do you mean by "Must be fixed", but I can tell you that you should place MiniMap in some more convenient place if you want to see the core loot control.

There's a setting for the waypoint, but it doesn't show up on the minimap border or on the map when close.
If you don't see it on the map you won't see it on MiniMap.

I'm not sure if it is happening for everyone, but for my small, four-person guild, the problem of stale pins is occurring. The main ('m') map is staying correct, but the minimap data is stale for quests pins, lore books and sky shards. Let us know if there's any diagnostic information that would be useful.

I've cleared saved variables, disabled any other map mods, etc.
Like I said they update through API. Which is by game design.
