Yea, that's one way to do it.
Alternatively, I added a new setting in Loot Log itself, in version 4.4.1, to disable the integration with LibCharacterKnowledge. Such an option already exists...

Today I opened dragonguard chest ~20 minutes before reset and got motif, then 5 minutes after reset and got another motif. Have screenshot of lootlog, if proof needed.
So, this makes me think chest does not have motif cooldown.
you have a small chance to get motif off cooldown

Thank you for the suggestion and the nice feedback! I just added the option (update pending). Of course dates can only be shown for profiles saved after this update....
