Only the ringing is on for whisper, group and trade. All others are disabled, with the option of 15sec for sound.
For group, its rings to alert me and then start ringing each time someone talk in the chat group. BUt if i disable group chat alert, i shoudl have nothing no ?

It would be nice to have an option to set the number of rings rather than time or maybe make that an option.
Ringing occurs every 2 seconds.
If you set duration as 10 seconds, it rings 5 times.
It might ring 6 times because of lagging though:p

This addon starts ringing every time you get a new incoming-whisper.

It works! Now it just keeps ringing until you do something with chat.
It would be nice if there was control over how many rings (1-10) you get.
I will implement "Duration" option in 0.1.5.
Edit, there is a bug that makes the addon unuseable. Open the inventory, link something into chat that is being monitored and the ringing...

Could you also make it so that I have 3 screen button opties:
- on (pets always on, addon off)
- off (pets will not be able to be summoned)
- auto (addon on)
I sometimes accidently cast my wardens' pet bear while I am on a stealing run e.g. in the 2 ships of Daggerfall's harbour. If you can detect the 'auto loot stolen items...

You can use pChat in addition. It visually adds the name of the whisperer to the chat window so you see there is an unanswered whisper.
It's a good addition to sound addons like this one (though it also provides sound notifications as well on it's own, just less options comapred to this nice addon here -> combat/pvp).

I just installed your addon. I've set it changing the default checkings, but it does not save my settings when I re-load the game.

It's easy to start ringing when you get whisper. But I have no idea when to stop ringing for now.

Your addon is leaking the global variable targetId which also is used in genericheaders.lua for the Anchor class! So you might overwrite the anchor variable of all addons wtih your leaking global (I guess it won't happen but as your variable name is that generic, it could!).
