No. Addons have no way to interact with anything outside of the game. They can only read from and write to their saved variables. (This is why you have to copy/paste the string into the website. :) )

Maybe a stupid question as I dont know how this works and got no programming experience, but is it possible to add letters from other alphabets? In the english its 26 letters, in my language it is 29, only 27 is supported in the ingame chat, the ingame report bug feature supports all 29.

Even though we know how to move the button to the right a tad so its not overlapped with research assistant, I think the addon would be better served to have the event added to the items right click menu. The reason being is so that it would be (by default) compatible with the Grid view addon.

Yes, declared as put instructions. If I have other controls on the main panel with the sub menu's all controls are invisible. If I just have sub menus its fine.
Then you're going to need to provide your code. I'm not psychic and you're the only one reporting this issue. ;)

I noticed other addons like WarLegend had working food icons, before the author removed the buff feature all together.

It's actually not working "fine as-is". It's not tracking short term buffs so it's basically useless as a buff tracker :(
FTC's tracks short term buffs just fine but it has problems as far as placement and customization goes so It's only a temporary solution.
I was hoping for a stand alone tracker so I can dump FTC all together....

when I look to the standard menus coming with ESO, I notice that settings can be deactivated/disabled (displayed greyed-out), depending on the state of another setting (e.g. when I turn a checkbox to OFF, dependant settings are not useful and thus are displayed deactivated).

I found a way around this was to use one of the function keys to pull up the main menu. That reverts control back correctly, and you can use the mouse again.
