Player Marker Map
 

Not sure if this is possible, But I actually struggle all the time trying to find my character marker on the map, Was wondering if it's possible to make an addon that acts like the group rally point ping but around your characters marker all the time..

Basically I want the moving rings from the group rally point that you make by shift + left clicking on the map around the player arrow all the time. Or even if it can't be all the time let me bind it to a key.

But yeah not sure if this is possible.

Oh and I know I can just press "r" and it zooms in, But if this is even possible it would be easier for me personally.

Why not using the group rally point then?
It works on the worldmap when you are not grouped but I'm not sure it is displayed on the compass.

It does show on compass, using it to play a sound if you look at it for visibly impaired players within FCOAccessibility, so I recently checked that and know it :D

It got a feature to ping pong the player arrow on the map as you open the map. It will be easy to spot your player on the map that way!
I could add a keybind to it too, if I didn't do that already (do not know anymore).

It got several other helpers and features too, like mail receipients favorites and last-used, same for mail subjects and texts, auto fill in last-used after sending mails, ccrafting helpers, stable helpers, and so on.
